This company used to be SunTrust and the service got strange towards the end before Truist Bank acquisition due to outsourcing to *****. Now it is clear most of the representatives that answer the phones are outsourced workers from *****. Given ********* lost billions of dollars to scammers ** ***** many who were recruited after working for outsourcing companies. I am so ****** right now. I deposited a check into my business account and ********************** is holding it for a week. The facts: I do real estate deals all the time. I have used this same attorney multiple times and have deposited checks from this same attorney into this same account multiple times.... why hold my money for a week!!!!! I don't care if "the system" is holding it.. you mean to tell me not one living, breathing human being in the whole city of Truist can release that hold????? ***************** falters can't get in my accounts due to the security system. Can't trust the ability to access my accounts anytime from anywhere even from my home. I'm losing interest and confidence with Truist - I have been working through the same bank facility for 29 years but since the merger - too many problems. Strongly considering moving to a interent banking company as I have accounts with Ally. No serious issues with Ally.

Automated scammers trying to take advantage of people who dont pay attention to their statements. My mortgage was transferred to Truist and they immediately put a $20 bad check fee on my mortgage when it was already paid on time. Its extremely difficult to reach customer **********************. I called during their published open hours and a message said to call back during published hours. Nicely done, profit mongers. You win. Take my $20 fee. Truist Bank stole the entire balance in our family checking account after facilitating fraud. They threatened ** with being black balled in the banking industry. Truist is a criminal enterprise, and as it turns they have done this to many customers. Do yourself a favor and choose another bank before you become their next victim.

Following the merge of suntrust and BB&T into truist I have had the worst business experiences from this bank. They view their customers as just another account number and they have the most horrendous customer **********************. Their bank policies and procedures are all designed to make any resolutions to issues as slow as humanly possible. They have also removed the ability to fix most issues from their local branches requiring you to go through process over the phone dealing with rude bank employees who like to talk... read more

I am a brand new customer at **********************. They are hard nosed lacking compassion. Trying to fund my new checking account, I sent 4 deposits via my smartphone @$7,500. Peju the wonderful lady who spent 3+ hours with me creating my account, said they will hold my deposit 7 days until it will be available. May 10 I made deposits totalling $30,000 expecting funds release May 17. I scheduled a test payment for May 17 of $1000 being sent to ME. Worst bank ever!! Got a car loan from them threw a dealership. Paid off loan within 2 weeks threw credit union. They had way better interest rate. And so the bank has been over paid $4,810. They processed everything and since the middle of April weve been waiting for that check. Ive called many times . Always talk to someone different. They always put me on hold to talk to someone in back office. They wont let me talk to anyone in back office. They see the moneys there but havent mailed it.
