Truist has held my weekly income checks 7 times over the last year for doubtful collectibility EVEN THOUGH Ive contacted the issuing bank and they have NEVER received the forms/inquiries from Truist to actually confirm the collectibility. SO they hold my income checks for 2 WEEKS waiting as long as they legally can to give me my money, meanwhile I accrue hundred of dollars in overdraft fees because I go negative in my account and cant live for 1-2 weeks in between. I have refinanced my home loan and unfortunately it is with Truist/Suntrust bank. After 2 years of paying the mortgage loan on time and taking care of my own home insurance and taxes, they are coercing me to pay them money upfront for them to cover my insurance and taxes. There are numerous calls from them asking for money to be deposited into my escrow account even though the home insurance and taxes are all up to date. I would never recommend this bank to anyone! No star is what they deserve.

They are horrible and will find any way possible to steal your hard earned money. The customer ********************** and management team are not fluent in customer ********************** and could care less about their customers. Bring back Suntrust or adapt the Suntrust customer ********************** ways. Its sad that i see all these reviews that back up my claims on how horrible of a bank Truist is. They will play with your money to ensure they get unjustly paid for fees they didn't deserve.

Absolute worst bank. I would give 0 stars if possible. Awful in every way-from customer ********************** to technology. This bank is clearly run by the most inadequate individuals in the industry. They shouldn't be allowed to operate in this space much less be in business.

Worst bank and customer **********************. I joined due to the $400 promotion, only to be told I don't qualify, after making several deposits well over $1000. Customer ********************** is third party and cannot speak English, and when you are forwarded to a Manager, they are nothing but rude and cannot help you. They refuse to honor the $400 promotion after depositing a few checks, and took over a month and a half to send me my debit card. Manager said there was "nothing they could do," and was rude and ignorant.

Worst bank and their service is awful. Don't expect them to be fast with anything. Have a cashiers check? We'll expect a **** day delay in the funds being available. But you bet your a** they'll fine and put in fees immediately.

Worst banking experience ever. I needed to open estate accounts for 2 recently deceased siblings. I had never been through anything like this and was trying to work through the process. For the 2 accounts I was told I needed a tax ID #, and asked the banker "how do I do that". He replied "how should I know"? House mortgage is through this bank. An every month it's paid...however it's been several times we received a letter stating we didn't pay our bill! We get money orders every month to track payment & each time it's been an issue on their end! crediting other ppls accounts w/ our payment until they figure ********* charged a late few w/ reports to our credit! Get your c*** together! I see a rifi w/ another bank real soon!!
