I applied for an account online only to find out 2 days later that I would have to close it has there are no branches in my home city. This information was never disclosed to in during the application process even though they ask for your home address! If you cannot do business with in states/cities where you have no foot print, then disclose that information upfront in the application process. I had to speak to multiple reps before I was able to be informed this was the issue

Service Finance Company LLC is a part of Truist Bank. They offered one promotion to me when I wanted to finance a large purchase. When the paperwork came to sign, the offer was different. A bait and switch tactic was used- they called it a counter offer. I called the customer ********************** number and spoke with a representative who was not helpful nor math knowledgable. I did not sign the document and will not do business with any company who deals with this company. Stay away from this company!!!

The worst freaking bank ever. Truist is trash Shut my zelle account, block online bill pay, block online payments to credit cards, s**** up balance transfers so I couldn't get rid of their credit cards. I left their bank and went elsewhere and they gave me a hard time switching my mortgage payments to the new bank. They refuses to correct any issues and tell me nothing is wrong. I've accumulated over 70 hours of Customer support, tech support and in person time spent. Total joke

They will scam you for your money. Been a member for years still get denied car loans with a consigned, with PERFECT credit that also banks with them. They will let you overdraft 16 cents and charge you 36$ a few hours later. They dont give you any notice. Then I got fraud charges that over drafted my account, they coded it as a courtesy refund, so I wont have any other courtesy refund for the next 24 months, and the kicker is they never even returned the 36$. Truist has the absolute worst customer ********************** so hopefully people do their homework before banking with Truist. Had someone steal 2 checks and stole $3,400 from my account. You would think after banking with them for over 30 years I would get more than just sorry nothing we can do about it. The signatures on the checks were not even close to my signature no accountability hope the police will be able to help as Truist is a joke.

Since Truist changed over to BBT, they want to charge you for lost or stolen cards. They also have started charging monthly bank fee's when I have never been charged before. I have had a Suntrust account since my early 20's. Never had bank fess because I have always had money in both of my accounts. Started checking my statements after it switched to Truist and Suntrust/BB&T said they picked what kind of account I would have and that has a ***** monthly charge....however as long as you have over ******, they have other accou... read more

Have a car loan with truist. For the past 6 months I have made payments BEFORE the due date. Truist has consistently reversed my payments and then adds an extra month to my minimum. Called them and they told me my bank (M&T) wont authorize the payment. M&T said truist hasnt requested any money for payments. Then scheduled a callback appointment and they never called.
