Absolute worst company for a loan. I purchased windows and the manufacturer set me up with a loan through this bank. Its suppose to be interest free if paid off in 12 months. Monthly payment due is around $600 (which is less then needed to pay off the loan within 12 months). So I setup a bi-weekly (every other week) payment of $500 basically guaranteeing that in a given month at least $1000 will go to the loan. They make harassing phone calls and say that you are behind on payments when you are not. We have contacted our congressmen to look into Sheffield Financial. They sell business loans and tell the customer that you're getting a business loan. Then when it is all said and done the loans are actually personal loans in your own name.They say that you can do a loan assumption, then when you call, the customer ********************** rep will say "yes we do loan assumption" then an hour later on the phone they say they won't do the... read more

I received a pay roll check from the ****************. Used the mobile app to deposit the check said it would post by the next morning if done before 9pm. Get a email the following day that there is a 8 day hold on a state check due to doubtful collectability. Went to a branch and talked to the manager and got told the hold was because its a new account but she's confident the check isn't fake. I have banked at Truist, formerly SunTrust for 35 years. In move to ******, ** I continued with them. However due to the severe lack of branches and ATM locations here I am moving to another bank. I am not going to drive 15 miles to go to the bank or use an ATM.Why do they even have a presence here. They are most definitely not customer oriented. I cannot send an email. As a customer that is unacceptable.

Im very frustrated with the costumer services that this company offers by phone. First at all they are off shore, in Philippinesthat makes me feel very unsecured because my personal information is in another country. Second they never are able to solve anything. They are very polite but no knowledgeable and they get upset very easily when you demand to speak with a manager. This has to be the worst ***** ********** ********************** I have ever come across. I am reporting this today, as of fraud. TRUIST took money from my account, which they were not authorized to do. Now 25 days later, I still don't have my money. I have received nothing but a run around. All they can say is we are so sorry........... Maybe in your training, you can teach your staff to be SMART... I am so disgusted with the whole transaction. This is American.... Wow.
Predators. When you make payments online they hold them in processing, wait until youre past your date to pay and then charge you. They do this for business and personal accounts. I have proof and records. If something goes wrong such as this or they bill me for no reason, which they have done multiple times. They blame it on the system. This is all predatory on middle and underserved America. They operate like the mob.
Opened an acct online. Made min deposit. Acct closed due to online "suspicious" activity. Called number on the letter received and they were beyond useless. Only kept getting me frustrated with no real feedback. Told I had to go to a physical branch to get MY money refunded. That was counterproductive. Waste of my time and gas. I tried to payoff my car loan and it has been a nightmare! We wanted to purchase the car outright but the dealership said we would get a better deal if we financed and made at least one payment. First payment went off without a problem. Second statement never came in the mail. We called twice asking about it. Today I called and asked for the payoff amount.
