I had BB&T for 25 years and Truist has ruined them overnight. My account was hacked and drained right after the merger and Truist did not provide a provisional credit stating that they had too much fraud to worry about one customer. Took them almost a month to return the money which caused bounced checks, late fees etc that they said they would cover and they did not. Frankly, I felt more violated by the bank than the hackers. My mother banked with Sun trust/ Truist Bank for over 40 years. I was on all her accounts as an authorized user. She died March 2019 and this banking institution Still Refuses to allow us to close her account and return the remaining funds from her earned money.The wont give me information on the steps to take to withdrawal her remaining funds. Instead they continue to add charges Rufusing us any help. Do not bank with cheating thieves

I filed a POA form when a family member was ill. Apparently there was an issue and they never conveyed that to the family so it could be addressed. We didn't find out until our family member passed. The rep we worked with was quite nonchalant about it saying it didn't really matter now and it was our fault for assuming too much. She also advised that they gave no obligation to communicate such info. ********* from what I can see and I'd never use them! Truist must be desperate for business after non existent business and canned responses on here and ********* Can't even contact by messages or email. These people constantly sending garbage mailers to my house for a guy that's been DEAD for SIX years and nowhere to get them stopped! If I can't find customer ********************** as a NON CUSTOMER, I sure wouldn't put my money in their bank!

DO NOT BANK WITH TRUIST!Truist is NOT a customer-friendly bank. Their customer ********************** is incredibly slow. After the merger, I experienced 60+ minute wait times to resolve problems. This lasted for about 6+ months after the merger. When I did get a person on the phone, often, they could not help me and did not resolve the issue. This issue continues to this day. Scum bags charged me a $36 overdraft fee for a $2 overdraft. They can easily send an email or text to warn customers of overdrafts so you can transfer money quickly or make a deposit to cover the overdraft if necessarily but nooooo, they only tell you after the overdraft fee has been charged. Scum bags!

TRUIST mortgage bought my home loan unexpectedly due to my "excellent" credit rating. I received one written letter notifying me of this fact. They failed to notify me that they were canceling my automatic payments which created several problems. I did not realize they were not being paid until I received a telephone call that my "loan was 60 days overdue and what was I going to do about it?" Horrible bank , customer ********************** employees contradict themselves , hung up phones , non logical answers , and much much more .I asked for a supervisor and they refused to transfer the call .DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRUIST !!!!!
