Truist bank freezes my account regularly for no apparent reason. Customer ********************** has no explanation, stating there are no notes on my account for this repeated action. As soon as I use my debit card at all they place another security freeze and refuse to lift said freeze until I go to the branch. Branch employees have no explanation. I have had so much trouble with Truist in regard to my mortgage. They have mishandled my account and seem to have no regard for customers. I cannot get in contact with anyone who can actually help me correct the mistakes they have made. The representatives who I am able to reach give me conflicting information and are unable to resolve anything. They dont even seem to have accurate records of what has been processed. Mortgage under USA Mortgage on 5/16/22, and they turned over mortgage to Truist Bank. Truist Bank is not providing full amount of escrow overage back to me and not lower payment either. They owe me $1,889.94 in escrow overage from 2022 and are not fixing the incorrect real estate taxes on my account. I have been contacting them for the past 2 months. My husband and I flip houses for a living. We just closed on a house and I can honestly say I have never had an experience nor felt such frustration like I have dealing with this bank. I am not happy and will NEVER recommend Truist to anyone.

called to get interest rate on credit card before using card they told mw 0% rate for 12 month cool awesome great made purchase with credit card 40k first statement came 0% interest 2nd statement they switched my card to another card that charged me 500 in interest I called they when I saw the charges I called asked them to pull voice recordings where I spoke to 3 people before I used the card.....never called me back , called back 3 time getting run around someone will call you back what they said ........bottem line your g... read more

They unfortunately have my mortgage now and are absolutely terrible to deal with it is almost impossible to give them your payment, you will spend hours getting sent from department to department and nothing gets resolved. Then they will tell you to go to a branch in person which is 8 hours away. It is simply that hard to make a payment. If I could give them zero stars I would I hope this bank fails.
I agree with everyone else. Phone service is a joke including fraud ***** Changing banks. When it was bbt it was better.

Horrible service. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Bank must be going out of business because they sent me a check that bounced. Very disappointed and will never use or recommend them to anyone again.
