Horrible. I had SunTrust before and was treated like a customer. ********************** is completely indifferent to their customers. From the branch to the call centers theres a lack of service and total incompetence to do even the bare minimum. I cant wait to finish my switch to literally any other bank.
Was a BB&T customer over 40 years with hardly any issues with Truist its one thing after the other. You call customer ********************** and can't understand the people, they always I say you have to call tgis section and you end up getting transfered to several people who still can't do anything. I recently sold a home and I'm still trying to get a small equity loan paid off, they're just sitting on tge check from the buyers closing attorney's office, keep saying it goes through a process which its been a montg and late... read more
Ever since SunTrust became Truist I've had nothing but problems. Had problems with a unauthorized purchase. Had problems with card controls i did not set. Now they wont let me receive money that was sent to me through zelle. Will be changing banks as soon as possible.

My debit card got stolen without knowing till the very next morning but thru out the night someone was having fun with my bank account they deposited a check into atm in my name for over 4 k they pulled 400$ then another 100$ later that night they pulled out 2,081.95$ at the hard rock then another ****** at the hard rock then morning time when I received a email from my bank saying fraud on my account I look for debit card realize its gone I reported stolen thru online banking app where it said bank card cancel and order me ... read more

Truist put a 7 day hold on a check from the **** Then tells me no matter where I went to cash it or deposit it I would have been told the same thing! I'm 50 years old and since my first IRS check when I was 18 years old I have never had an IRS check put on hold or been told I had to wait to cash it! I'm sure they were hoping I would pay some bills and then overdraft my account. I will definitely be changing banks in the next 7 days.

Our new, non-profit, 501c3 educational organization had a HORRIBLE experience with this bank from the beginning. After opening our account and making the initial deposit, we made a mobile deposit from the proceeds of our academic competition. Then, without reason, explanation or notification, the bank locked our debit cards (that we were trying to activate for the first time). I was charged eight $36 fees on my account in 3 weeks. I called customer ********************** explaining my economic hardship and they waived two of the fees. These companies want us to be loyal to them but during our hardest times they show no compassion.

First ******************** next BB&T, Couldn't ask for better service. Now Truist, horrible service, can't believe they are running a bank like this. Can't begin to tell you the issues that are so apparent. Not able to change due to being afraid I could get something worse, if possible.Do not feel secure or comfortable with this bank and would not recommend bank to anyone.

My *********************** has recently changed management companies. That requires that I cancel the auto-pay to the old management company. That auto pay is through Truist Association Services. I have FAXed the required cancellation form to Truist Association Services over three weeks ago. Repeated attempts by myself and other community residents to contact Truist Association Services to verify the receipt of the cancellation requests has failed.
