Truist the absolute WORST auto loan service. My loan was initiated with Suntrust and since the merger with Truist the auto loan service is horrible. I've been applying additional money principle to my loan since early on prior to the merger, using automatic payments with USAA. I noticed the extra amount wasn't being applied to the principal, I was told this would be corrected, don't worry. Horrible customer ********************** as each rep gave different answer to resolve 1 PMI question. Also, the process to remove PMI started in December 2022 and its March 2023 and still no answers as Truist will intentionally request additional information each month that they could have received from day one simply to prolong the amount of months they collect additional PMI payments as they will get an additional 30 days to resolve whatever new question they raise. Joined when it was BB&T. Every reason I joined-great customer **********************, trustworthy, competent, no longer exists since the merger. It is literally a piece of s**t bank now. There is nothing right abt Truist. NEVER EVER bank with them.
TERRIBLE BANK, HOLDS INSURANCE PAY OFF CHECKS SO YOUR CREDIT DECREASES SO YOU CANT REFINANCE. LOL THIS BANK IS A JOKE I WILL CLOSE ALL MY ACCOUNTS AND NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS BANK.
The worst customer **********************! They bought Suntrust who had my mortgage and I haven't been able to access my online account or get anything administrative done without hours on the phone with customer **********************. After going through the call prompts I got disconnected 4 different times. So Frustrating to just get help accessing my account. Stay away from Truist if you have the choice.
Worst mortgage company ever. They continue every year to force home owners insurance on you, while we have a policy in place. Cant get anyone on the phone to fix. Since this mess up they charge us a extra $1200 a month towards our own homeowners insurance policy. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. And honestly, they just dont care about their customers.
I have my acct since 2015. I never had issues with fraud when it was suntrust. Since the merge, it happens regularly. Not to mention the 10 day hold on any check that is hand written. A scammer attempted to collect my info yesterday by texting a msg asking if I tried to withdraw $700 from atm. Immediately was called by random number pretending to be truist. When I realized what was happening I tried to call the 1 and only number truist provides to its customers only to sit on hold for almost 2hoyrs before I hung up. This ban... read more
This bank is by far the worst to deal with, their customer ********************** is horrible, they do not have the customer at best interest. They told me we couldnt add an authorized user, unless we *********************** with them. All in all would not recommend them at all!
