Worst bank ever! I never heard of a 10 day hold on a check if you have money in your account to cover the check. I have 8 different accounts and I will be closing all accounts this is unacceptable Ive been with Sun Trust since 2008 or before and I never had to deal with any problems with them.

Awful experience. I have been a Suntrust customer for my whole life and never had a problem. Now I have one issue with Truist and no one can help me. I transferred money to my credit card by mistake. The money needed up being a 3800$ overage in my credit card. *** called and talked to two people and they said it can be reversed but it needs to clear first. I am logging into my account after hours and no information is loading. There is no way to leave a feed back or get assistance after hours without joining a social media account. Very, Very frustrating as a long term customer.

I dont trust them. The IT is glitchy, took almost an hour to set up an online account with a representative on the phone, requiring some unusual workarounds. Payments dont go through and you cannot set up a recurring payment for something as recurring as a mortgage. By the time they send you the statement, you already incurred a late fee. The old provider was much better, but they sold the mortgage and I didnt have a say in this.

Terrible service. Dont do business with these people. Been a customer with ********************** since 2011, its gone down hill since merging. My card was lost so I reported it on the app, it stated I would receive my replacement in 5-7 business days. I called two times in the past two weeks for an update. I was told it had been mailed. Here I am just over the two week **** and called for a third time. The rep told me there was no claim on my account for a lost card. I asked for a supervisor. Horrible bank I've been charged multiple late fees and of course the bank tries to blame it on you. I never had this problem with SunTrust, because I've always mailed my payments in. Now with Truist during COVID I kept getting late fees. Found a Truist 30 mins away started driving to make sure I don't accumulate any. If I have time to take them I always made sure my payments were in before the 17th because that is when they charge late fees. here we are the month of February and now it's always been the 16th and I have state... read more

This bank took over my mortgage. I had gotten behind on a couple pmts. I paid the day before the breach of contract went on my account. I even have an email stating i paid day before. But since it was 25 mins past their cutoff time (which i was not informed of) They still put a breach of contract on my account. You can NOT speak to a manager, you have to leave voice-mail and wait ***** hrs for them to call you back . I left voice-mail over 72 hrs ago and still no call back. truist has an issue with me spending and having online access to my own money. I have a trust on my money. They cut off my access to my own money it has been a week now.
