I've been nervous to leave Truist since I had been with SunTrust since I was a child and I've retained the same account since I'm connected to other accounts with family, so we share a lot of the bills and it's helpful to have that. However, my satisfaction with Truist has completely diminished recently. I beleave there is inside fraud going on, someone went into a bank a few months ago and said they lost a card for my account. They gave them another card and they withdrew $500.00 from my account.today someone did a teller withdrawal for $3500.00.have had nothing but problems since inception. They decline some of my transactions and alow fraudulent ones.

My Mortgage Loan was sold to this garbage company in October 2022. My payment was not received as I had it set up to deduct from the old company on Oct 8th, and they stopped taking payments after Oct 1st. There was zero way to set up on-line access for bill pay with Truist. The first time I called Truist, and after 45 mins on hold, they said access could not be set up yet, call back in a few days. Ever since they took over SunTrust its been a hassle to get money out of the ATM's. They are always out of service or half the options aren't available, mainly to withdraw money. When you go inside there's 1-2 tellers working. I've been with SunTrust since I was 18 and I'm just about ready to find another bank.

Worst banking/mortgage company EVER. We have been trying to remove our *** for almost 6 months. Their customer ********************** is so horrible, we have never received a call back or a follow up regarding our situation even after many times of being told a manager will call back with 24 hrs. They cancelled our *** and return our check stating we were unable to be reached. Truist bank is predatory. My wife and I were out of town and Truist allowed almost 50 $10 transactions go through on my small business account - and charged us a $36 fee for each one - that they refused to refund. I was a happy Truist customer and we were about to move our personal banking there - but if Truists position is to steal from small businesses then they will never see another cent from us again. Anyone considering opening an account should stay far away.
