This is the worst bank I wouldn't recommend and warn anybody of doing any business with Truist Bank. Charges on my EXPIRED business credit card went through 5 months after expiration, provider willing to return charges but they can't accept it because card is cancelled ( I did cancel ). I spoke to 4 different reps with no solution, went to the Branch, no solution either. Since it's small amount ($24.16), I sent a check on Dec. 12, 2022 and just received new bill for same amount plus finance charges.A couple of this wrong on ... read more

The worst bank ever to deal with i have accounts at 9 different banks but they are by far the worst they make everything so inconvenient where other banks help there customers they dont if I send someone to make a deposit with my Id and debt card they wont take it other banks will been waiting on a new debt card for 6 weeks been to the branch twice about it and called 3 times still dont have my debt card would transfer to another bank but this is my bill paying account it would be a big hassle but might be worth it please do... read more

Ever since Suntrust converted to Truist, we've had nothing but problems. The app is the worst banking app I've ever used. You can never access the app when you need it. It's constantly down. Charges and transfers don't update instantly like the Suntrust app. I have to go back to writing all my transactions down to make sure I still have funds since the app never gives you an up-to-date balance. If there was a-10 star I would click it. My family is starving and my bills are behind. I live paycheck to paycheck. On 12/22/22 I deposited 2 checks from my employer one was a bonus the other was my paycheck. Got email next day stating they are holding my money because of doubtful collectability. I contacted my employer and they went straight to their bank. Out come was the money was taking out of my employers bank but Truist bank is still holding my money. Charge you fees then charge you fees cause the fee didn't go through. They consider non profits to be a business and so they charge them the same fees even though its a registered charity.They say your relationship with them isn't good even tough they stole you from your other bank without knowledge.They pretend to file complaints that never escalate.Customer ********************** is null.Communication is void.FEES ARE OUT THE *** SAVE YOURSELF.
Truist has been the biggest pain about building a house. NEVER USE THEM!!!! They do not respond when needed, but will bug you about very minute details that are not needed. They will not listen to what you say or advise you on anything. I will never use them again. They caused the build of my house to take 2 months longer than necessary because the loan officer said "I forgot about your loan." Just don't . Applied for a new credit card, it arrived and kept getting declined. I spoke to a representative and they said it was compromised and they needed to send me a replacement.. I received a replacement and it is getting declined. I have been on/off the phone with at least 20 different people. I have not been able to use this card once.. They either end the call and don't call back or they transfer me to someone and I have to explain the whole situation over again.. My current call is going over a hour and the proble... read more

Truist is a piece of $hit company. Once my vehicle was paid off, they did not send me the title. They sent a letter that looks like a title but does me no good. I requested to speak to managers about my situation and no response back. I will never work with a bank affiliated with Truist.

In a word - pathetic. I had a great bank and banking relationship BB&T and my local banker. When Truist took over, my local banker was no longer in the loop so all he could do was tell me to call Truist corporate offices. The auto answering system they use is designed to ask if you want dozens of really useless things when in fact, you never do.
