They continue to put *********** on administrative holds and tell me theres nothing they can do. They do this to protect me and ensure it clears the other bank. I absolutely need this money to pay for my mortgage with Truist so the administrative hold is some Bs ploy to get me for a late mortgage. I pleaded my case both in person and on the phone but no one would help even give me a slight credit to make the 10 business days wait easier. Theyve placed more financial hardship on me with this hold thats supposed to protect me.... read more

It is not even worth one star. I have spent 9 1/2 hours trying to pay off my car loan three years before the loan end date. I have paid off the loan in cash and the account is still not accurate and accruing interest on a balance I should not have. "A branch can not help you" you have to call in and every time you call you get a new person and have to start over. I have had multiple dropped calls and no-one has the courtesy to call me back. I was charged twice for a car payment in the month of November and it raised a red flag at my personal bank. The payment was returned because I did not AUTHORIZE the 2nd payment. I have a letter stating from my personal bank stating that the 2nd payment was not authorized and now TRUIST is leaving an$35 return fee for their error.

They will steal your money!! I opened an account and deposited my end of the year bonus from my employer. The next day (11/23) they locked my account and told me it was a counterfeit check. It absolutely was NOT. They told me to wait until 12/2, then it was 12/5, now another 48 hours. Ive called numerous times and every time Im told something different (its a fake check so were waiting for the funds to kick back, just go to a branch and get your money, it will clear on 12/5, just call back tomorrow, call at 3pm. They keep everything transactions in pending status and do no show the true amount you have in account. They want your account to go into the negative. The will hold my income deposit until all pending transactions just to get an over draft fee. There is a lawsuit against another bank doing the same thing
