Ever since the merger, Truist has been a complete nightmare. I was with BB&T for years, but Truist is the worst. I have called twice to dispute some issues, they placed me on hold and Truist hung up on me after 2 minutes, no one bothered to call back. I called them back after a few minutes, I tried explaining the same situation to the next person, they acted like they could care less and they were not even listening to what I was saying. called customer support becase I thought I might be getting scammed and they told me I had to deal with them myself. well I tried and they scammed another $1000 from me. I later found out the accounts were fake but they could still send them money

This bank is stealing from their clients! My parents passed away and I have gone through all the needed channels and paperwork as Im the co trustee of their trust! They are refusing to pay out the almost $100,00.00 that was in my parents checking account! Giving me the run around the past 5 months! The account has been closed and where is my money!!! WORST BANK EVER!! They will not get away with this!

I was a BBT mortgage holder but Truist took over. Not only did I lose all my online records from BBT (had opted for the paperless option) but my mortgage went up. They said they did an assessment and needed more for escrow. For the last 6 months, I have been on the phone with them each month to change the mortgage *** (not related to higher taxes or hazard insurance). Constant problems since the merge and I cant stress it enough. Take your money and run if you still have the chance because they will hold and charge fees until your account is negative then charge you more fees for it becoming negative. Its illegal what they are doing the amount of random charges just from Truist blows my mind thousands of dollars down the drain because of this horrible bank. I received a fraud alert from Truist and called promptly to get it taken care of. It has been several weeks and the charges have not been removed from my account. Not only did I need to call (again) to get the charges removed (that is their policy for pending charges), I need to get documents notarized to start the claim process to start an investigation to see if they can remove the charges. I was a customer with BBT for many years. I decided to stay when they merged and now known as Truist. As of recently I have become EXTREMELY disappointed with them.I was scammed and spent my Thanksgiving week filing a claim as well as a police report. I literally sat on the phone in tears speaking with a representative in the fraud department who was very helpful. But to my surprise, I received a letter from Truist a week later denying my claim. If I could give zero stars, I would. I banked with SunTrust for 15+ years and was so happy. Since the merge into Truist, banking has been a nightmare. Overdraft fees and fraud by truist is what I have experienced. Awful bank.

Worst customer ********************** ever, the customer ********************** rep. have a heavy Indian accent so it makes them hard to understand. Tried to get a debit card replace 3 times and still nothing..... Thinking about pulling out my money and banking with a different bank
