This bank is the absolute worse. Ive been changing jobs the last two months. I received checks . Never had a problem cashing/direct deposit. Until now! Its been a 10 day hold on my check and Ive gotten NO answers on why. All I hear is because its a check. So why havent I had this problem the last two months????? This bank is extremely slow in processing electronic payments to my creditors. It takes as many as 3 business days for them to pay an electronic debt. The deposits from a day, say Monday, arent credited until after 5 am on the next day. If one debits their account before that time there is a good chance the credit line will be debited. If my account wasnt tied to so many businesses and my retirement benefits were not deposited there, I would choose a different bank.
I deposited cash into my checking account, well more than my first mortgage payment I was making. Latter that day after ensuring the cash was available in my checking account I made a e-check payment to my mortgage company. Long story short, the bank reversed the payment for no reason. This is my first payment for my brand new house so its pretty frustrating that this is happening! Just great full that my mortgage company is being great with this! Do NOT waste your time with this bank!!!!
Terrible place to bank, if you're thinking about it just DON'T! I opened the account to be able to pay bills out of it. I have two other main accounts that I use which are MUCH better, ***** and my credit union. I have $266 in my account, purchased at target for $44.93 and $10 transfer to my truist savings account. Overnight they processed a $300 transaction, put the transaction before the other two which were processed during the day and charged 3 overdraft fees. I opened a checking account at a Truist bank a while ago to use as a local cash account as they were the closest to my residence. I unfortunately did not keep watch on my balance and it fell below their minimum threshold. I got a notice that they had already been penalizing my account and it was down to a negligible amount. I figured I would just let it run out and they would close the account. I need to talk to someone! There are so many things! Lack of customer ********************** is staggering! Wait inside 20 minutes or more. Drive through no better. Fraud and Claims are HORRIBLE. Never called except at beginning and then denied claims with no explanation. Foreigners did calls. Very hard to understand them because of thick accents. Do not feel like anyone cares for me at all!!
My mortgage was sold to Truist. Legally I have no recourse, I cannot choose my own mortgage company. If the law ever changes Also, their customer support representatives are all down right rude each and every time I have called with a question or request.My advice to self: I will never trust or invest any of my hard earned money with them.

After many years of a relationship with Sun trust than it became truist. An it has been a nightmare .I have a mortgage loan with them..an they are always claiming I haven't made my payments. Which I pay promptly every month..an I have a good name..an they are trying to destroy it...an it still hasn't been solved.they saying I owe money which I don't. My payment has already been made like it has every month on time.

This is the worst bank Ive ever had to deal with. I moved to another state and my regular one didnt have any branches here. I switched to Truist and have had NOTHING BUT TROUBLE getting my money. They put holds on deposited checks, they wont link up my bank accounts, I cant even get money transferred from Zelle with them. Its MY MONEY and they refuse to let you have access to it. One of the tellers even deposited my business money into my personal account. I dont know where else I can try to get these things resolved because... read more
