I've been trying to get my escrow refund for a month ! I get nothing but excuses and delays . Now the $2200 refund is not in my escrow account and I don't have . Went into my escrow account and they originally issued me a check for the amount attached to the statement saying I had a surplus and they were refunding it . That was a month ago. Now the check has void stamped on it and nobody knows where my money has gone ! I hate this bank !!!
All I can say is if you are looking to open a new bank account and Truist is one of your options RUN AWAY! IF you are looking for a bank to finance your car, home, business or whatever, and Truist is one of your options RUN AWAY FASTER! BB&T used to be decent but since their change, this bank has become nothing but the "truist" headache in every possible way. Our bank cards have been mysteriously hacked numerous times. Very dissatisfied! I've been using the bank for 2 yrs, cashing checks, making deposits etc. I go to cash a $500 check and the teller informs me that I don't have an account with them and that I am probably at the wrong bank. I give me feedback to the manager who only made excuses for the employee. Very poor level of service! There is nothing special about this bank. I will be switching to a local small bank.
Today on my online account I saw that there was a returned item fee and no way to tell what it was. I dialed what use to be my local branch number. I gave the lady that answered the phone all my information I told here that I was in a hurry and need to know what the returned item was. Don't open a business account with Truist.I had a fine relationship with BB&T. Then Truist took over and it all went to ****.I had a business account and credit card with them for over three years. Really have gone downhill since the merger. I had a fraudulent charge on my account through a debit card of almost $900. I contacted both the bank and the merchant to resolve this. The merchant stated that since it was not their card that they could not find the transaction.I called the banks fraud department and had to jump through several hoops before reaching someone to speak with.
