The worst bank Ive ever dealt with. The in beach employees have zero idea what is happening with their own bank, their online system is terriblelocking us out, wrong numbers in emails, hanging up on us when we call.
We have had a Money (Debit) Card with BB&T (now Truist) for over 4 years. Within the last 3 weeks we have had this card deactivated twice for no apparent reason. Customer ********************** tried pin the deactivation on our actions. I informed them we have not deactivated the card that we use this card regularly for purchases online. After 2 hours on the phone with customer **********************, and 2 disconnects, I called my local branch. Banked at BBT for 30 years. Truist is terrible. Compromised debit card - they tell me to call back after being on hold 10 minutes and after talking to someone! Then they mailed the card the next week to the wrong address after I spoke with them twice about it. Scheduled, automatic online transfers that I have used on my account for several years - some just quit transferring to other accounts. No notification, no explanation. Many other issues. Terrible customer **********************. I used to be a loyal customer.
Really really poor customer support. They took over my mortgage from a good company last year and I STILL cannot get online. Cannot get 2021 tax information and this is October 2022.
Just had the worst experience ever with this bank. Ive been on line for over two hours trying to get in touch with a rep. *** clients who actually need help, they are not responsive. High wait times. I wish I didnt have to work with this bank. I can get someone on the phone in less than 7 mins with ***********
The Truist Bank on *************, ***********, ** is obviously having issues with employing staff/tellers. It should not matter if you arrive 30 or 5 minutes before closing. The bank hours are from 9 am to 12 noon on Saturday's. The doors were being locked by a teller prior to closing and customers who were trying to enter were told "We only have two tellers, the lines are extremely long, and I was told by the manager to close early. I mad a deposit at trusit in *********** **.They put a hold on my funds for 10 days I don't understand why. I have never any overdrafts or had any bad checks in 20 plus years since I opened the account. I call the person that wrote the check and they say the money came out the business account the next day. But trusit wants to hold my money. I have been on the phone with four people today and I am so frustrated. No one can help. I specifically saw a pending deposit on my account yesterday and then it disappeared and no one has evidence of that. That cant even identify if it came and why it disappeared. What is showing in my account online does not coincide with what customer ********************** sees. After getting a fraud notification from Truist, the nightmare began. Customer ********************** requires you to repeatedly verify your information that you just had to enter to even get a person on the phone. They treat you as if you are the criminal and put all the responsibility on you to jump through the hoops to "prove" the fraud is real when they are the ones who notified you of the fraud in the first place.
