On 10/8/2022, I received a letter from Truist Bank advising that an account had been setup in my name and I owed $155.10 that included a $30 charge off fee. Negative stars are required for this review. This company is so horrible. The transition from SunTrust was a complete mess. My account gets locked for no known reason and customer ********************** has no resolution other than 'wait til Monday'. 80% of the time the ATMs are out of service. The app is clunky and terrible to use. Now I'm going to be charged for using my savings account? That is completely unacceptable. Don't even think of using this bank unless you want endless fees and technical issues.
Awful, theyve got hundreds of dollars out of me every time there bank machine isnt working you still get charged overdraft fees they tell you they only allow 3 every 24 months so even though there machine isnt working you still have to pay all these fees Im leaving I cant take it no more they are horrible and should be investigated by the *** for robbery little thugs
Ever since this Bank changed from SunTrust to this what it is now it has very shady business practices. Me and my wife both signed up for a checking and savings account free as long as we had a direct deposit which we both did. That was 2018 every now and then periodically we would get charged a maintenance fee for $10 which is no biggie. When I called to ask when did the maintenance fee charge for a free checking and savings account that we signed up for originally was for. Not a good bank they love to charge $36 over draft fees. They will charge you even if you have a pending deposit just sitting there they want release your money. They have awful customer **********************. Not a good trusted bank if you have been a long time customer with ********************** so sorry they merged! I give them 0 stars.
I trying to change my withdraw amount for daily use and they told me I cant. So Im closing my acct because I have no access to my money!
Been robbing me for months with random a** overdraft fees and try to make you feel dumb when you just trying to understand where all your money going worst bank ever, I been late on bills, daycare services for my son etc because of these junk fees. I talk to lawyers about them and all I was told is to find a new bank. Thats ridiculous I want my money back, over $2000 in overdraft fees.
Customer ********************** is severely lacking. I can't get a straight answer to a question or the assistance that I need. A simple request on the history of my account which is needed in order to fill out an Immigration form cannot be fulfilled. This information should be readily available to me when I need it, but they can't be bothered with customer **********************, they just hand you off to someone else. Time to find a new bank.
