Truist Bank is not trust worthy Bank. Do not do business with them. I have already took steps to close my account.
Truist Bank has the poorest customer support of any bank I have ever dealt with. Zero phone support. I cannot reach anyone via phone. This is unacceptable, and I will be looking for a better alternative to do business with.
My new mortgage starting in October was charged for me this month in September. Definite corruption here.
I'm very disappointed. I have a Truist rewards card, which started out as a SunTrust rewards card. It offers 10% bonus for transferring rewards to a Truist account. The first and only time I transferred my rewards to my Truist savings it gipped me the 10% bonus, I've called 3 times in the past 3 months and I just get the run around. Never had a problem when it was SunTrust. I beleive they call that bait and switch. Crappy business practice. Thinking about moving my business else where.
Not a good reputation. Wants to record customers but will not continue working with customer if they want to record. Sounds a little odd to me. Had a contract but installation refused and I am waiting to see what this company will do.
Can you give less than 1 star?? Truist bought out BB&T and apparently, they don't like friendly courteous tellers. It appears that at my local branch they replaced all of the tellers that were there for years with some type of Stepford employees. They don't speak to you or great you and act like it is a bother to them to even wait on you. It was never like this before. They don't know who any of the customers are nor do they care who you are. Pretty sure we will be switching banks soon. We had a wreck about two months ago and the car has since been totaled out, our insurance company has been trying to contact Truist for about 2 weeks now to settle our loan and Truist has yet to call back. Our rep also banks with Truist and this has made her feel uneasy as well. Were stuck with one vehicle now as we wait for Truist so that we can get our payout after the loan is paid off. Teach your departments to answer their phones!
Truist has a way to scam you to overdraw your account. I check my available balance daily. They dont add pending charges. I have had four separate transactions where I have checked my balance thinking charges on my card were pending but I received my packages before the charges skipped over pending and went straight to processed. If it were from one retailer, and only happened once, I could believe it wasnt Truist fault, but four times with four different retailers. Truist continues to go down hill! I was with BBT for years but it has gradually went down hill.The only reason I stayed with them was because I had to be able to transfer in and out of 2 estate accounts. i will be changing banks in the near future
