I have had multiple issues with this bank since the switch over. Todays issue is that yesterday I made a $20 atm deposit at 3:40. Before the deposit my balance was $9.59. Today my balance is still the same even though its shows on my statement that the deposit was made and went into the bank. Went to the branch nearby to inquire about it and she said it must just be the app glitching because the piece of paper she printed out says I have a $54 balance. I have been with this bank for 12 years but after the merger, it has become the absolutely worst bank I have ever dealt with. They held a deposited check drawn from their own bank for 7 days and another bank check I deposited for 10 days after telling me it would only be 4 days. Wish I could post a pic of their faces when I go into the branch tomorrow and withdraw every ***** and ask for it in 20 dollar bills, I will sit and wait while they count it out. It will take awhile. In 2018 we had purchased a minivan and received a bank loan from SunTrust bank Which was affiliated with BB&T Bank and now its Truist bank.Unfortunately, 2019 my husband I was out of work for a broken foot.We were going through some hard ships and SunTrust was not able to do any deferment payments because we Did not have the loan long enough to make those arrangements. I had been with Suntrust bank for years found out today that my accoubt was closed to readon or explanations have been trying to reach someone to see why not able to talk with anyone the worst bank to deal with I will never refer anyone to Truist.

Dont **** at Truist , they have the worst customer **********************!!!! I have a account with my son , we were at the hospital we got a one overdraft fee, they declined to reverse it , will transfer money right away thats no my main account this is with my son, I request to talk to a supervisor ************************* she decline it. Since the merge the bank has really went downhill. BBT wrong move for your customers. Your shareholders may be happy now but sooner or later the way you now conduct business will start to hurt your bottom line. I am currently looking for another bank.

Truist is the worst service bank. Of all the banks Ive chosen for business loans, this one takes the trophy for worst service! Theyll cost you more money and youll spend hours on hold never getting to the right person. Truist has the worst banking app with no way to communicate with the right department. Youll need to make several phone calls with numerous transfers giving repeated information.
