On 8/18/2022, My online bank account was locked out. When attempting to sign in, I get a message saying my account is restricted, and a phone number is listed to assist. I have called them numerous times. HORRIBLE!!!! They keep my account on hold for Fraudulent charges.
Worst bank ever! They take your money and hold it hostage. Transferred money into account from one bank to theirs and they will not let me access my funds. Blocked all of my accounts. Even after them making me jump through hoops and providing written proof I still have no access.
We got a mortgage through a local bank. Less than a month later it was sold to BB&T who then merged into Truist. Both companies are terrible. They tried to claim our house was abandoned and threatened foreclosure (we had obviously been living there the whole time). Then we got a covid forbearance. It was fine until we tried to start up our mortgage again. Truist made up fill out a new mortgage application, which they then lost, along with all of our income verification. I had a horrible experience with Customer Support and a local branch in ********** **. After I asked the agent to setup a secure credit card they said it was be opened to **** days and that my card was in the mail. Later my saving account was closed and my secured account was blocked and froze. The excuse I got was oh the team member must be new Everyone has to get their start Now they have close my account and reopen one.. this is an exhausting 4 days.
Truist Bank has been giving me a hard time about me getting my name on a Mortgage since my husband passed away. I have the right of survivorship. It has been 7 months now. Also when I call the band to check on my checking account, they ask for my pin number. Isn't that illegal?
Can you give negative stars? They took our money to pay off a note but wont clear the lien.We have called 8 times!!!! they claim they have not record!! They will NOT Call us back to figure it out.

Tried to make a purchase for a grandchild gift and they declined it for fraud. There support is in the Philippians so being able to understand what they are saying was very difficult. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for a very long time only to hear the same thing we cant confirm your phone number. No kidding we opened our account 30 years ago and we didnt have cell phones so we used our home phone now we dont use our home phone much but our cell phone numbers werent on their list so they declined my purchas... read more

There was fraud activity on my account, someone had wrote a check for over 3k under my account name and I was notified immediately. This was on August 5th. I got my money back the following day because my bank for once actually was on top of it and called me letting me know and froze my account. Less than one week later, on Aug 11th, there was fraud activity yet AGAIN for a higher amount of money. I went in person to my local branch and had one of the worst customer experiences in my life.
