I've never experienced a worse bank. My mother banked with BB&T because it was the only bank that was both in the state I live in and hers. It was okay, she made me joint owner because she was ill. It changed to Truist right before she passed. When she died I decided to keep using Truist for her money until I was done with probate. BIG mistake.I went through the whole song and dance. This has been my worst experience getting a loan, with any company ever. I got my loan with Regional Acceptance Corporation (part of Truist) for a car in the summer of 2021. I was ecstatic! I was interested in paying my car off early, to avoid having to pay the total on the interest. However, when I was reviewing my paperwork and trying to calculate how much interest was accruing per whatever time period, the math didn't make any sense. Worst bank ever bunch of deceiving bank. Do not ever open any account with this bank. The online is one of the worst and the service is really bad. If you want to have a good bank service get away from these people.

This bank has been very unprofessional and does not put their clients first. They have been my lien holder for two years and have not had possession of my title the entire time. No one followed up, yet just kept telling me that it was the dealerships fault. No one was willing to help. They also kept applying fees to my account and blaming my bank. Very unsatisfied and unpleasant experience.

Truist has been nothing short of horrible to work with. My husband and I were members at Suntrust for years with no issue. Just in the past few months we have had problem after problem with Truist and their customer **********************. For example, last month I paid for and submitted TWO different stop payments for the SAME thing. I had to do two because the first one was not done properly. They still let the payment go through anyways, resulting in a negative balance and then immediately began accruing MULTIPLE overdraf... read more

Where do I begin? This is the biggest group of morons I have ever dealt with. I am currently in ********* on vacation and all of my transactions are being declined for fraud. I have made multiple attempts to rectify this issue with the fraud department and I am left with a card that gets declined no matter what I do. I even had the fraud department ON THE ***** with me while attempting to make an ATM withdrawal and they still couldnt accept the charge. What?!? This bank is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!! I have had nothing but problems with the transfer from SunTrust to Truist. Never had one problem with Sun Trust, the online banking with Truist has been NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. 10% whether it will work, not even 50/50. It constantly says cannot deposit because it is missing endorsement which is STAMPED in big bold black letters!!!!! ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS COMPANY!!! Bring back Sun Trust!
