TRUIST Bank is the worse bank in *******. They are not professional at all. Their staff do not know anything about products and services. I have a fraud case with them and they refuse to investigate the case. They charge my credit card as line of credit to get their money back from the fraud. I file a police report and send it to them and it has been since December 2021 and now they sent my name to the credit bureau as delinquent. Please do not use TRUIST Bank.
After BB&T sold out to this company, It has become an absolute nitemare. We will be switching banks... the online system is a nightmare,. And there is absolutely no customer ********************** on line or in person. We will be transfering everything we can from this bank. The employees are so afraid to upset management, It absolutely shows when going into bank. They are worried about their jobs. Things they use to do for customer home town ********************** is not allowed anymore. *********************
Absolute NIGHTMARE. Everyone I know thinks its the worst bank they've ever dealt with since its merger.I have been a client of BBT now Truist since 2002.BBT was an incredible client centric bank. I opened an account with Truist on 8/4/2022 and established mobile banking on the morning of 8/5/2022. I tried to open the mobile banking at 1:30pm on 8/5 and was locked out of it. I called and they said the account was closed. I also had issues with BB&T some years ago. This is a sorry excuse for anything. I would not let Truist run a bath, much less a bank account.
The branch rep and I have been working for 3 months to resolve this. The rewards ***** refuses to apply the rewards points to the credit card balance my late mother and I shared. They say only my mother can request the rewards as the cardholder. The cardholder agreement says, cardholder means any individual, firm, partnership, corporation who applies for, signs, accepts, uses, retains or authorizes the use of the card. Sonce Truist took over Suntrust, we have had nothing but problems. Luckily, they only have an auto loan of ours. We have set up autopay with them multiple times. Yet, they don't take the money and then charge us a late fee. This is their way to make a profit apparently. This has now happened 3 months in a row. We have on e again attempted to set up auto pay. If they fail to take the payment next month, I am refinancing the vehicle somewhere else. I recommend you look elsewhere for banking / loan options if they're available ... read more
I quickly realized they were playing with dates to create overdraft fees. My SS check comes on the 3rd at one a.m. I can't possibly make debit transactions to pay bills without available funds it would say card declined. SS check posted, then bills, 10 am my transactions changed to bills and no sign of my check but lots of overdrafts. 3 pm on the 5th deposit is now posted again showing coming in on 3rd, clearing on 5th, customer ********************** gives no relief. Worst bank ever! Had car loan with suntrust, 1 payment left, became trust all over my credit report not late once in 5years trust changed my car loan number to credit line said I owed 800 more dollars
