Worst bank ever ?? I had my account open since May & still waiting for an actual card to be sent out it's gonna be AUGUST . The agents are airheads running it in a chicken coop, this bank is FRAUD .

Them and there insurance company took ***** dollars after l had requested policy be canceled. I tried to get money back but that was a waste of time.l live off of ****** a month and they helped themselves to *****. Don't send form in for the insurance that truist is supposed to be giving you for a year next thing you know l got bank draft truist pays after l told them not 2 and yep overdrafts in which l don't want od protection if l don't have it dont accept charges .

Review is with Truist Bank - ******, **.My husband and my account was breach - with a Zelle acct being opened and money withdrawn. We were notified by e-mail - told to go to a branch bank and file a fraud report - that it could not be done on line! We went to ******* ** branch bank on Lafayette Street. The branch manager their freezes all of our accounts and refuses to unfreeze unless we sign a letter releasing Truist of any wrong doing or responsibility for the breach or of money being removed. This bank is nothing but a bunch of crooks. Iv never in my life had a bank hit you with so many overdraft fees continuously. Even when its their fault! I highly recommend NOT banking with them. Truist sent BB&T downhill!!

Money was being stolen from our account. Even though we caught the fraudulent purchases, Truist customer service refused to stop the charges and said the stolen money had to be taken from our account before a dispute could be filed. We just had to let it happen. Even though that money would prevent us from paying our mortgage, now a late payment. Unfreaking believable. Find a smaller bank. Don't become an unimportant number at Truist.

I have been with {Suntrust} Truist for over 25 years today I attempted to make a cash deposit well under the $3000 dollar rule amount. I was depositing to my account using a preprinted deposit slip from my check book as I have been doing for ****************************************************** to make this transaction, this was not required two weeks ago. When I questioned this I was told it was a federal law. I can find NO such federal rule. How does a teller looking at my ID stop money laundering?

We have banked with BB&T for 35 years. We've always have been happy.....until now. Now it's called Truist. The name change isn't a big deal (I don't guess) In the last month our credit card has had three fraudulent charges in which they have corrected. Last week our debit card was compromised for $16.04. I called Truist and they are sending new debit cards and that charge was corrected. We have since then shredded our cards. We only have been using cash since 7/4/2022. Gave one star because there was nothing lower. Truist *** bank machine ate my $20 last Saturday and I've been trying ever since to get a refund. You'd think it was ****** that I'm trying to recover! I've been getting the run around this entire time. The receipt that came out when the *** shut down has all the info on it including machine malfunction. They will intentionally leave out important details so they can "legally" s**** you over in the future. For example, I made it VERY clear I did not want overdrafts allowed through my account, but guess what I've been receiving tons of BS late fees for???? OVERDRAFT FEES. Now I'm sitting at a $300 balance all because these people can't explain how they run their s***** business. How is this place rated a A+ when the average rating is ONE star?? Who are they paying off??
