I ordered a stop payment on a account, but they processed it. All they could say was she did it wrong, and they couldnt reimburse me for my loss. Now what am I supposed to do till the end of the month. If its their fault they should give me my money back. What a joke for a bank

Truist took over my car loan a few months ago with the Suntrust acquisition. Ive had nothing but issues with payments since. I have tried three times to set up automatic payments, sending cancelled checks. Hasnt been set up. Tried to do it online - impossible to figure out. Sent a payment within a day if receiving the **** and was charged a late fee. And after connecting with someone one the phone they said they couldnt help. Horrible bank.

Last Wednesday Truist repossessed my son's car, we called the bank to find out why the explanation was no payments were made since Jan, 2022 yet the representative acknowledged that all the payments are being on time but with the merger with Sun Trust there are many glitches in the system and trust does not know where the payments were going, we got his car back after paying more than $3,000 and obviously ruined credit, I hope something can be done immediately to resolve this wild wild west notion of doing business, we will ... read more

I hate the online banking app. It is not real time. SunTrust was so much better. I only have Truist because that's who my employer uses and I use direct deposit. I have so many issues with these people. I need to know how much money I have in my accounts (I have 4) at all times. When I was with SunTtrust, the moment I used my debit card or a payment was taken out, it showed up. It might say "pending" transaction, but I could see how much would come out. Today I got the notification that a payment was sent 5 days ago!

Absolute worst bank! They took over my car loan from SunTrust and ever since we have had problem after problem and they are rude from the very beginning!

Over 3 weeks, and they still have my mother-in-laws accounts tied up. My husband submitted a valid, notarized POA 3 weeks ago so that he could use her funds to pay for long term memory care. Still waiting for their legal department to get back to us. In the meantime, additional fees have been incurred, over $100 of dollars, because my husband has had to use credit cards instead of paying directly from her accounts. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

It's a shame. BB&t was decent. There are no good banks left anymore. My overdraft protection has been turned off for probably a year. Since I turned it off while it was still BB&t I wasn't charged with the $36 fees anymore. I woke up this morning to see that I was by truist! I am very angry & currently searching for a way to bypass even having a bank account at all! I'm done with banks eating my money every chance they get!!

HORRIBLE. I had a $17.53 CREDIT on my Mastercard account. Although I had regular payments being made to APPLE every month from the account, they decided to close my credit balance and promised to send me a check within 2-3 weeks! Seriously.I strongly recommend that you NOT use Truist for any of your financial transaction or you may get screwed also.

I never write reviews but personally depend on them when I'm out shopping so I feel as though I should tag *********** BBT, now Truist as BUYER BEWARE. BBT always fell short when it came to customer service. They never answered the phone and terribly slow processing transactions. Just recently I found out one of my accounts that I don't frequently use had over $400 in monthly fees withdrawn because it fell under the minimum threshold even though I have multiple account with substantial balances to replenish.
