I went to the shop in Greenville, SC. Olivia was very helpful and made me feel at ease, especially after she revealed that she too wears the aligners (her smile is amazing!) which I would have never known otherwise as you couldn’t see them and her speech was perfect. The cost is extremely low and the freebies to boot further makes me feel confident in my choice to go with smile direct club
The whole process has been a nightmare. They basically stole money from me. They claim an orthodontist follows you every step. I spoke with 1 virtually (pretty sure she wasn't an ortho) no follow through. They could care less about you. They only care about your money. The customer service is horrible too. Run away! Go to a physical place. This company is not worth your time and hard earned money.
I went to Smile Direct in Lancaster! Lauren was very helpful in explaining the process of Smile Direct. I’m now eagerly waiting for my new smile.
After many emails back and forth and being assured that they could move the one tooth we needed moved due to my son being born with one missing tooth. After over a year of treatment and REPEATED attempts to demand a refund - I sent X-rays to show that the tooth did not move - ghosted. I’m taking up legal action along with others. This scam needs to be shut down.
My teeth are much straighter and I am more confident with my smile. However, I had several aligner touch ups, did impressions kits 4 times (if not more) and the customer service is just a person doing their job. They don’t care. DOO not recommend at all cause jaw problems and does not try to fix anything!!!!! I recently purchased then and began wearing them caused SOO much pain to my gums and not being able to return them after 30 days ??$2000 spent and teeth are worse not improvement what so ever! I want my money back and get no response!!!
When I say this is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND A SCAM ! I mean my teeth wasn’t even that bad I was quoted 7month treatment which turned into 10. My teeth are still spaced and crooked and dr N***** denied an aligner touch up even though they say you are guaranteed for life…. THAT IS A LIE?? I got smile direct aligners in July of 2020 and was given a 8 month path to correcting my lower teeth. After 8 months it seems as if nothing had happened. I went in and they gave me another 3 months for a touch up to try and fix it. Again nothing happened. I went in again and was given another 8 months for a "touch up". Again nothing happened. It’s unfortunate that I’m writing this because I did like SmileDirect - initially. I went in to correct a gap in my front teeth, which was taken care of beautifully. However, in the course of treatment I was told I also had an overbite (per my actual dentist, I did not). When I expressed concern about this, it was dismissed. Now that my treatment plan has concluded, I am left with neither an overbite nor underbite, as my front teeth sit on top of each other and none of my molars touch which makes chewing painful.
