I have tried multiple times to get a refund of the money they took without my authorization. I have been told the account was canceled. I have been told the refund was not processed correctly and it was being done. Now I've been told they canceled account but aren't refuning the money.

Original process went smoothly, but now retainers are impossible to get. I have been trying to get retainers for 2 months now. I have called multiple times and already submitted an impression kit. First I was told 5-7 business days, after two weeks with no contact I reached out again and was told 3-5 business days, after another 2 weeks I was told they were "escalating" the situation and I would hear back in 1-3 business days. This company is a scam. DO NOT believe any of the before and after photos that you see them advertise. I had two gaps by each upper canine that I wanted to close. That is why I went to get the aligners. I clearly conveyed these gaps were my main issues. As I started nearing the end of the treatment, I was concerned that I hadn't seen much improvement in the gaps. It has been terrible. I started my treatment plan in July 2022. I went through the entire 4 month's treatment plan all the way to November 2022. The one tiny fix I wanted with one tooth wasn't even corrected. I feel as if that 4 month's treatment didn't do anything. I, of course, asked for a touch-up after doing a video call. They sent me only 3 of the retainers. The first set of retainers dug into my gums. I then asked for a new set after doing another very frustrating video call. This was beyond the worst company I have ever purchased from. I was show a scan of how my sons teeth will turn out. They turned out nothing like it, I even gave the benefit of the doubt & gave them a second chance for touch up aligners. That did nothing at all. They didn’t close a gap that was promised to close. Just awful. Every chance they had to drop the ball, they did. They charged my card 2K without permission initially, then took months to respond for a retainer, then eventually they did respond by sending the wrong one (they sent a duplicate of my step one aligners????). Then I had to prove what happened via video call and they thought I should get a touch up. So I did another impression kit and then they lost my order. this place ***** Go to a real dentist the headache has been unreal with this company daughter is going on a year with trying to fix her teeth and still is not right her teeth are not terrible because she has already wore braces from her dentist

I visited SmileDirect in Eastvale, CA and was helped by Andrea. The facility was very clean and very efficient; they saw me on time for my appointment. Andrea was very polite and professional. She explained the process and was very gentle when conducting the scan. She made sure she answered all of my questions before I left. Great experience. The aligners are decent and have definitely gotten my teeth back on track (I’m close to having the smile I’m looking for). What I’ve really been impressed with is their customer service. Rainy at the Denver office was super helpful and kind and has me completely sold on my SDC experience. I’m on my second touch up… but they’ve stayed true to their lifetime guarantee so far. I figure I’m going to be wearing a retainer at the end of this process at night anyways, so going through the touch up process isn’t a bother for me like... read more
