Verified Renter The overall experience is good. Our apartment Is pretty new and clean. The location is great. I would complain about a few things: the bedroom windows are unopenable, so it is hard to have some airflow; the maintenance team is responsive most of the time but can be ineffective sometimes. The price is a little bit high so we decide to move.
Verified Renter I love my apartment and my experience with my neighbors upstairs and downstairs. However, I have been approached multiple times by scary people in the alley and my car was even broken into at my apartment. Not Smile’s fault, just unfortunate. Also, our laundry room is DISGUSTING because we share it with the house next door and they treat it terribly!
Verified Renter The house 809 W Stoughton was great. Well-maintained and super fast services. Had zero to very little issues with the property and the location. It was within walking distance of 4 bus lines which was very convenient.

Verified Renter It's a good place for what used to be cheap rent. The apartment itself is good, clean, and fine for a student. You have to be lucky to have a leak free apartment though. Also the basement floods sometimes during heavy rain. Management is nice but often fails to get things done adequately.
