Be very careful with your payment/s and make sure you receive receipts at every opportunity. I paid a required amount by credit card and details to prove to St David's Medical Center but have been hounded for that same payment amount again from St David's North Austin Medical Center.

I was shocked at the price for going to the emergency room here. I was with the Dr. for about 2 minutes. The hospital charged me and my insurance company about $10.00 a second for the 2 minutes I saw the Dr.
My daughter suffers from medical trauma so obviously the last place in the world that she wants to go to is the Emergency Room- especially during this time of COVID-19. Yesterday she was having severe chest and abdominal pain, something that she had been experiencing off and on for the past week, but it had reached such a point that she couldn't take it anymore. My husband had a video chat with Dr Rama and she told us he needed to go get his blood drawn. I ASKED any time we can go, her answer YES! So three week to his visit to the doctor we went to get his blood drawn but needless to say the girl at the drawn station told us they cannot do it until two or one week to doctor visit. WTH! They have the worst customer service in the registrars office. They let the phone ring forever and immediately hang up without talking to you when they do pick up the phone. They never filed with the SS administration when my baby was born even though they are required to by the state of Texas. They are paying people to do a job and billing patients thousands of dollars for it, but they don't even do the basics.

After speaking with them about my review, nothing was resolved. As you can see in the X ray, it is clearly a screw that can not be pushed back in, as it is threaded. As a doctor, you should know the difference between a screw and a pin. Her trying to push it only caused extreme pain and was a stupid thing to do. Yet is was worth billing me $525? The second pic of my leg shows how far it had backed out and why I went to the emergency room to have it removed. I am now told such a thing was not an emergency..

Made it to the hospital at 10:30 pm, described my symptoms and was asked to be seated as normal. Waited a hour and still no service provided to me. At 11:40 I ask the receptionist why everyone has been seen except for me and she told me they were cleaning a room for ME I'd be a couple more minutes. I waited another 15-20 minutes and seen more people waiting no less than 10 minutes to be seen. So I went back to the receptionist and was told "we see people based on importance" WHAT!!!!!! I went to the ER at Saint Davids North Austin Medical Center last night with pain and swelling. The pain was moderate but swelling was getting worse so I went to get it checked. There was no wait time which was good, the staff got me back quickly. Nurses in the back were very polite and quick getting things done. Now comes the problem, the doctor comes in and checked on my complaint. The doctor took a look and was gone, maybe 2 minutes in my room. I am so frustrated by the billing company the ER doctor's use. They are the most corrupt company I have ever dealt with. I cannot get anyone to help me or anyone from North Austin Medical Center to return my calls. My daughter is medically complex and was seen in the emergency room at North Austin Medical Center in August of 2018 and was admitted to the hospital from the emergency room.
