Fraudulent company. They have not resolved an extremely serious issue we raised in February, which caused our family to be displaced for a number of months. We've reached out weekly are are given the run around, told our issue is being looked into or escalated or worse, "resolved." I suspect this is a PURE financial company with ZERO infrastructure to support actual solar operations. It's been nine months and we can not get a productive response from anyone!!! I am a customer of Spruce Power and have been for quite a few years. They do not respond to calls or emails, I am still waiting for a response that I sent in August 2025 it is now November and I sent multiple messages asking them to get back to me along with pictures that they requested . They do not fix problems, yet they still collect my payment every month. Something needs to be done and they need to be held accountable and deal with their customers problems
My system has not worked in over four months. I was told I had to provide one year worth of utility company data indicating that the solar panels were no longer producing renewable energy. I provided them 16 months worth of data and they still haven’t dispatched a technician. I had over $1200 in credit with my utility company and now it’s down to $0. I guess there’s a reason why this company is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau. I will not pay a single cent to them until my system is fixed.
Please I need the office address for Spruce Power. They are criminals. I am a senior citizen and my not remembering sometimes to check my online bill payment with my bank. I made a mistake by paying double payment for over a year. They have $2,147.00 for me in extra payments that I did by mistake. They're holding on to my money and refuse to return it to me. Spruce Finance... how is this company still in business, and its executives not in jail ? The solar system on my house has not worked for most of 2 1/2 years. Spruce has used every trick/excuse not to dispatch someone to fix it, and here is why. Even when my equipment is producing ZERO for months at a time, Spruce power is still billing me. Spuce Power is an absolute horrific company. I am surprised that the CEO ***** *****is still employed! My mother suffered from dementia the last few years of her life. She renewed her contract during this time and when she passed in June 2025 I was fully transparent with them and sent them the death certification and told them she did sign it during dementia but that I would keep the contract and make the monthly payments. I have 2 inverters and 1 is defective. I initially contacted Spruce Power 4 months ago and through several emails, I had to provide pictures of my solar system. They never call you back. When I hear no response, I have to call them and then they say that they did not receive certain pictures. I wonder why we (the customer) are held to the contract to the last letter, but Spruce Power doesn't. This company has cost me thousands of dollars because of in proper installation, not to building code. It has cost me $2000,00+ in repairs and another $7500.00 to have the solar panels removed by a company they say I must use. Part of the blame is on my city building inspector who signed off on it. One star is more than enough for these scammers. They deserve a way lower rating. The customer service is a disaster, and they refuse to follow the agreement and provide info if you ask them about it - incompetent people. My advice - never go with them. Also, if you need to remove panels temporarily, these scammers don't allow a third party to remove panels and charge a huge amount, way above the market price. No wonder these scammers have low ratings
