Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. All I needed is a buyout or purchase amount. I was sent to "asset recovery". They won't issue a buyout amount until a payment was made. My account is current and I DO NOT have a past due amount. My account is always electronically debited by SPRUCE! They do NOT want you to be able to get out of your contract and will make it as difficult as possible.
The absolute worst company ever!! Our solar keeps tripping! I can’t tell you how many times we have called! I’m worried now , we live in NJ and experiencing a heat wave! My husband was a lineman and he said this can cause a fire!! Our house backs up to a vast wooded area! Not only did we pay 250.00 for solar we had to pay the electric company 275.00 for a 1000 square foot house!! I’m looking for a lawyer!!
SPRUCE POWER IS BY FAR THE WORST SOLAR COMPANY IN THE WORLD. I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH THEM FOR CLOSE TO A YEAR AND THEIR CUISTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THE TOOK OVER THE CO0MPANY I BOUGHT MY SOLAR PANEL FROM. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PEOP[LE OUT TO CHECK THEM AND IT WAS SAID TO BE AN INVERTER. THEYT REPLACE THE INVERTER AND THEY ARE STILL DOWN. Worst company to ever exist. We are only working with them as our original solar owners went bankrupt. I did not choose them, and wouldn’t offer them to my worst enemy. Their customer service is a -10. Possibly a -100. They show I have 8 missed payments. I ask for proof, since i have their THANK YOU FOR YOUR PAYMENT email, and shocker, no one knows why it shows missed payments. Spruce power is absolutely horrible. .the solar has been broken for a year and a half .They admit it hasn't worked and they still have not fixed it.
Spruce Power had gotten better about their billing and customer service. But I just made a call to a rep. (Mr. Michael) who was talking above me and wouldn't let me explain why I had questions on my latest bill. I asked for his supervisor and he told me he would tell me the same thing. He kept talking above me and when I said transfer me to a supervisor. He said that is what he wanted to do in the first place. Unbelievable. Spruce Power is the absolute worst. Their faulty connection of the solar to my electrical box nearly burnt my house down due to using materials that are not up to code and obviously a fire hazard. They refuse to fix this and additionally, almost jeopardized the sale of the home I purchased as their response time is the worst I've ever experienced.
If I thought leaving all stars blank would register I certainly would give that, or negative. I need my roof replaced. Spruce sent instructions for temporary removal/ reinstallation of the solar panels. I contacted the list of approved vendors. I was quite taken back when the number given to me far exceeded the $400 quoted on my original contract with Level Solar. It's disgraceful that a broken box cover and a meter that is not attached properly to the house is taking over 6 months to be replaced/fixed. This is just one of many problems i've had dealing with this company. Multiple customer service agents handle one issue as shown by any email threads I have. Long wait times when calling customer service. It's a shame that I do not have a choice as to which company my money goes to each month when I pay the lease. I'm stuck with this company.
