Spruce Power is a total ripoff. Their costumer service is the worst I have ever seen. I am set up on Auto Draft and then they call me and tell me that I am 2 months behind, go figure!! I live in AZ and in the mean time my ELECTRICITY BILL IS GOING THROUGH THE ROOF, the converter has been broken since NOVEMBER 2022, they tell me that it will be repaired in 18 Weeks and it is still not repaired, there needs to be a full Governmental investigation by the Attorney General, The CEO and staff of SPRUCE POWER NEEDS TO DO PRISON TIM... read more

I am so upset. I have been for a for two months (March - April) to have Spruce send a Technician. Then their contractor (From **** *****) came out and troubleshoot our slake panel, and then tell that I need to replace the inverter. And he called the manufacturer and it should come within 2-3 weeks. A month (May) later the contractor said (after calling every week) that they are still waiting for the inverter. They are a HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! I have had so many billing issues! They constantly mess up my bill, then try to charge me late fees because I pay what the bill states, but they claim the bill is wrong. WHY ON EARTH would they send wrong bills EVERY MONTH! Whenever I have to call about a billing issue (on their part because I ALWAYS pay my bill in full), I'm on the phone for HOURS. I am so upset. Since on year I have been paying electric bills. Have to wait 2 months for someone to come out, to check. Then their contractor came out and installed a new meter, was told the system should be working, maybe a bit less, since 1 panel was out. After again 2 months, the contractor said, now they have to send it back to Spruce to get the repair authorized. They said Solar should be working just fine. SPRUCE POWER is the most dishonest, unreliable solar provider in California, and as I read in the reviews here, it may be all over the Country. We have requested a "Buyout" since November of 2021 . We are still waiting for them to respond to our request. We only get emails with promises of finalizing our demand within 2-4 business days, but they never respond. Do not use this company!!! They claim they cover maintenance on the leased panels, they even make it out to be some sort of selling point, that you don't have to incur your own costs maintaining their panels. Except, they don't maintain them, as in clean them, they only maintain them as in repair if they are broken. They also frequently send out false information. Saying we owe 2 months, even though they got the previous months payment. Our paper statements say we aren't on auto-bill, when we are. Which I have called to insu... read more

If there was a lower rating than one star I would give it to Spruce power. Ever since they took over our solar billing, it has been a nightmare.. trying to get someone on the phone for customer service is useless and they blame it all on how their billing system has changed, however, this is happened three times in the last year! Stay away if you can!
