My solar unit has been down since May 2023 and they have not come out to fix my solar panel unit and it is costing me hundreds of dollars more in energy bills. Every time I call they tell me that my work order is pending and they are waiting to hear back from the contractor, Solar x. I'm waiting two months later for them to come out and replace my unit. In the meantime I may never incur the money I lost from my solar panels being inoperable.

System has been underpowered for 5 years if not longer . ****can only go back 5 years . Took months to get a service tech to troubleshoot then took months before his notes and recomenations to get to the assessment team at spruce then taking months of calling spruce to get a update of when they plan on coming to my residence to fix the issue . Service sucks to put it midley. Our solar has be out since 10/102023. No production but online showing no production. Spruce is unwilling to send a tech out to fix the problem. Smoothing about having to wait 14 days to see if it comes back on line. What crap, nowhere is our lease is there a mention of 14 days before repairs can be started. I won't even bother to mention that they have screwed up our billing more than once.

I have contacted spruce numerous times. No response no bills sent to me. I finally after years I had with this company they send me an email that I owe them money. This company is terrible. I have called emailed and still no bill or statement.

By far this is the worst customer service department that I have ever experienced. To quickly explain, there are 2 electric meters at my property for a 1st floor and 2nd floor. The panels are connected to the 2nd floor but the documentation submitted to Con Ed to create a solar account for the 1st floor only. I raised this issue with Spruce back in July 2023 and requested that they coordinate with Con Ed to correct this issue. Spruce appears to be reluctant to coordinate with Con Ed on this issue. Not even one Star 0 customer Service. Company keeps changing name. Changes account numbers. Now they don’t want us to do auto pay.!!! Only mail that way we don’t have proof from our banked making payments to different accounts and companies names Please get the FBI involved!!!!! Please I’m in California

I would get give them a negative 10 if it was an option. This company is a complete nightmare. They are dishonest and will NOT help you. After calling and calling and calling only to get a run around....just needed a payoff total so I could put my house on the market. I could not list it with out this total. I told them it was an urgent matter and to please help asap. Well, they got the total on day 8. Spruce Power are not incompetent – They are very competent at their specialty, which is cheating customers. They are the most blatantly, deliberately dishonest company I have ever dealt with. They do little things like charging fees when they should be giving discounts, but their big budget operation is charging estimated fees in violation of contract. The paragraph covering estimated billing in the sales agreement is if/or. The first part involves instances of customer fault, followed by instructions for estimated billing. ... read more

Spruce and PSE&G are constantly giving me the run around. I've called in several times to complain about my bills being extremely high. It feels like my solar panels haven't been working for years and all they do is point the finger at each other. I'm not sure how having solar panels is saving me money. Additionally, when I go to my Spruce homepage, I can't see my metering. It keeps coming up blank which doesn't allow me to compare what my panels are doing vs. what PSE&G are reporting.
