Bills for services not provided & refuses to repair equipment 1. Issues began with Spruce 10/2018 a. Invoices were not received in a timely manner, numerous requests had to be made to get statements so they could be paid. b. Imagine paying thousands of dollars to lease a solar system. You have paid upfront and owe nothing. You have a warranty stating that any defect in, or breakdown of, materials or components will be promptly repaired. The unit (inverter), which runs the system has a fan failure. You call the company. Two months later, (after multiple follow up calls and emails), a technician comes to evaluate the problem. He notifies the company of the fan failure. They lie and say your system is working fine after a third party they hired say its off., the client sends bilss and pictures
As with all other reviews in this site, I did not choose them as a company, they took over for a previous provider. They acknowledge that my hardware is bad but have been dragging their feet for months. The customer service is horrible
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. All I needed is a buyout or purchase amount. I was sent to "asset recovery". They won't issue a buyout amount until a payment was made. My account is current and I DO NOT have a past due amount. My account is always electronically debited by SPRUCE! They do NOT want you to be able to get out of your contract and will make it as difficult as possible.
The absolute worst company ever!! Our solar keeps tripping! I can’t tell you how many times we have called! I’m worried now , we live in NJ and experiencing a heat wave! My husband was a lineman and he said this can cause a fire!! Our house backs up to a vast wooded area! Not only did we pay 250.00 for solar we had to pay the electric company 275.00 for a 1000 square foot house!! I’m looking for a lawyer!!
SPRUCE POWER IS BY FAR THE WORST SOLAR COMPANY IN THE WORLD. I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH THEM FOR CLOSE TO A YEAR AND THEIR CUISTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THE TOOK OVER THE CO0MPANY I BOUGHT MY SOLAR PANEL FROM. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PEOP[LE OUT TO CHECK THEM AND IT WAS SAID TO BE AN INVERTER. THEYT REPLACE THE INVERTER AND THEY ARE STILL DOWN. Worst company to ever exist. We are only working with them as our original solar owners went bankrupt. I did not choose them, and wouldn’t offer them to my worst enemy. Their customer service is a -10. Possibly a -100. They show I have 8 missed payments. I ask for proof, since i have their THANK YOU FOR YOUR PAYMENT email, and shocker, no one knows why it shows missed payments.
