If I could give a zero I would! This is absolutely the worst company. Trying to contact them it is impossible! They put you on hold and then the line goes to dead silence....what kind of customer service is this????......No matter what you press it is the same....you can never get a live person! Very bad customer service!

Agree 100% with all of the negative reviews, sent an email with a billing question 19 days ago and still haven't heard back even after numerous follow-up emails. Forget about trying to get someone on the phone, it is impossible.

These people are true bottom feeders, absolute worst of the worst. Since they took over my solar deal they don't take the money out when they should, lose track of information, then surprise bill for random amounts that absolutely are not correct. It's nearly impossible to get in touch with them and they are the worst nightmare of the home I bought. Really hoping some type of class action suit is started to bring justice to the customers who are truly getting ripped off.

I am experiencing the same as most people. No response. Not sure if others are having this issue but on my first bill they are trying to charge me for a month that NRG already collected money and saying I am late paying it even though I never got a bill for it. Also how can such a large company have no way to pay online when they have customers all over the country. After a terrible experience with NRG I am sad to see it is only going to get worse. My solar lease was a train wreck when Spruce took over. As I stand my lease is 4 months behind because of of whatever their issues are for over a year that they cannot take payments. The amounts they are currently billing are incorrect for the term of the lease. I do not know if I am getting credit appropriately for what money they have taken. I have requested an accounting or a payoff which they cannot provide. They are supposed to be responsible for repairs under the terms of the lease there is no one to call. They cannot ... read more

Honestly, this should be rated as ZERO stars! NRG sold my residential solar contract to Spruce back in late 2020 (I'm assuming). I can't provide the specific timeframe/month, because I didn't receive anything in writing until Spruce sent bills saying I was past due in my payment. Mind you, I have been paying NRG faithfully directly from the checking account (I have those records if I could ever reach anyone at Spruce) and never missed a payment. Spruce Juniper purchased my lease from NRG. I sold my home and transferred the lease to the new home owners in June 2020 and continue to receive bills from this company, it's been 9 months! I've provided them with ALL the necessary documentation twice, showing the lease transfer. They say that "they see the case", but nothing has changed in the last 9 months. Worst company ever! My originally solar company sold my contract to Spruce Finance, who never contacted me once within the first 5 months of the change. The first contact I had was an overdue bill and a notice of my delinquency would reflect poorly on my credit report. When I tried to call and email them the hold times were always over an hour and when I finally did reach a human being the call was disconnected. Additionally, emails were never responded to. I tried contacting this company after receiving a bill (1st Bill 3/2021) that stated it was past due and got a check from the company as well??? I finally reached someone, and when she picked up she did not identify the name of the company as Spruce so i did NOT give them my address, phone number or account number and when the person I spoke to told me i had to speak to the billing dept. she transferred me to a collections agency. I don't know how to get rid of this service anymore, i had no idea NRG sold out it's customers.... read more
