We did the grand city tour on a enclosed double decker. Was ordinary. Did the stars homes tour wirh Yoddy in the afternoon. This one was much better. We should have just done the second one. First one waste of time

Complete waste of time. Avoid. Have sightseeing bus tickets which I am unable to use. The company will blame the LA Marathon but Starline have made no effort to communicate schedule changes to customers. The website hasn't been updated since New Years. This Facebook is only interested in taking more unsuspecting travellers money and although the twitter is active they won't dignify your questions with a response. The 'live' GPS website had me waiting for a bus every 15 minutes for an hour but I later found out no buses were ... read more

Do not waste your money on the Hop in Hop off. Couldn't tell us where the stop we were going to start from was, the address was a shopping center. No one could tell us anything when we called. Got on the first bus and there was no scanner. Had to go to Santa Monica Pier to print tickets. Printed all four on one slip. Second driver had a problem with that since so many people were pushing onto the bus. We had waited an hour for that bus. Horrible service.

I have used this company a number of times for the hop on hop off and have enjoyed it each time. However this time when we went it was extremely disappointing, the driver we had for the hop on off was clearly fairly new or inexperienced, he continually slammed on breaks causing people to jolt forward, skipped parts of the information that was being read through the headphones as he was either running late or just not following the route. Not impressed at all.

To be honest I haven't been that unsatisfied until just a few minutes ago. We caught the purple line in Chinatown at stop 35 at around 10:10am on 3/5/2017. The GPS app said the pickup was at Bamboo street. When the bus arrived he directed us to a block down the street. As soon as we got on he proceeded to yell at us and accused us of using the bus as an Uber service. He yelled and said we needed to be at the designated stop. My partner and I used this company as a tour provider to get transport from our hotel to Universal Studios. Pick up from the hotel was 20 minutes late and after boarding the bus found out that we were going to the business main office before making our way to Universal Studios. On arrival to Universal we were given a card with a return time and were also told that we had to find out for ourselves which bus we had to get on to get back to our hotel (was meant to be 4 buses, which only 2 and a mini van showed up and of course ... read more

You realize that there might be people in Pickup buses with you who may not necessarily go to the same tours as yours. Hence everyone should be drive to our offices first (in few locations we have). The tour was very unorganised I got picked up from the hostel late then I thought we were on our way, to drive round the corner and be dropped at a small office to que for around 20 mins then get on another bus where we waited another 15 mins, the tour was ok but I thought there would be more opportunitys to stop and take pics, most of my pics are of the buses window frame and not the stars homes!
