We did the tour of the homes of the stars and the Warner Bros studio tour on 14 August. Both were excellent and great fun. But the day was marred by the low quality of the transfers from hotel in Abaheim to Hollywood. The first bus smelt of trash as soon as we got on, then we could smell urine from the toilet at the back although we were seated halfway. The seats were sticky and the windows rattled. This was the worst tour my family and I have ever been on. The driver was terrible and drove like a maniac!! It was very rushed and he didn't show us even half of what we were supposed to see! Total waist of money!!
I will never book with Starline Tours again. My family and I did 2 tours with them - One to Universal Studios and one to Legoland. On July 18 we did our tour to Universal Studios. I called on July 17 as instructed to confirm our reservation. The lady on the phone was pleasant however she said the tickets I purchased (front of the line tickets) may not be available and that I may only get regular tickets to Universal and that since I already paid the difference would be refunded to me. Muy mala atención al cliente, pésima, ni siquiera atendieron mi reclamo. Nunca compren boletos con tarjeta en el bus, porque si sale rechazada igualmente lo cobran. Uno paga en efectivo para no perder el viaje y nunca se lo reintegran. Me pasó eso en un bus del recorrido púrpura en L.A., reclamé en las oficinas del Teatro Chino y ni siquiera me atendieron el reclamo, llevo 5 días reclamando y no me han devuelto nada.
So booked today and paid by card for 1pm 2hr tour. Got to meeting point and for some reason we are told Oh over booked but wait 25min for next one. On asking for refund we were taken to rear of building and told be on a bus in a couple of minutes. 25mims later still no bus and guy at bus Park very rude. Then return and again state nope want a refund. Wait a further 20 minutes and being told server down for card machine (but yet customer card swiped by same machine to pay) only on being more demanding were we give a cash refu... read more
Bus broke down and then given all wrong information for bus times - even had to call them 3 times as wrong info each time- on my mobile,which rerouted via Scotland. Told 35 minutes after waiting over 45 with disabled pensioner. Serious complaint letter going in to them. Still waiting at Venice beach.
