I made an appointment for 9:00 AM 6/16/25 for an oil change a wheel alignment and an AC service, a week later I finally received my truck after replacing a AC Compressor, I was extremely surprised by how long a simple task took, I had to call to see if the truck was ready to go, on 6/23/25 I'm extremely disappointed with Stone Briar Chevrolet in Frisco Tx.
If I could give this place Zero stars, I definitely would! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!! They are THE definition of sleazy car salesmen. Came in to buy a specific truck and told them exactly what I needed and where the payments needed to be. They couldn't get it there that day. Bait and Switch! Received an email on Friday, June 13th, with some attractive offers. Most notably a 1500 High Country with $15,000 off in savings ($13,500 dealer discount, $1,500 customer cash). I had some free time Wed, June 18th so I visited the dealership to test drive and get some initial numbers. Went to the service center to only get an oil change because it was the closest to me and it was $130! At the other dealerships it was never that much! Always around $80. They didn't even communicate with me that it would be $130 before checking out. Yes all I was charged was the oil change plus their service. Super over priced and never again will I go back. Definitely feel targeted for being a female, because I know how much the oil change is at other dealerships.
Got my Corvette back from service here, and I started getting a clunking noise from my wheel well. None of the lug nuts were tightened down on my front driver side wheel. All came loose with my fingers. I called them to have a discussion about it, but never got a call back.
This place is the definition of rip off, I come in to make my first car purchase as a young man to just find out that the price listed online ($41,000) is now magically $55,000 when starting negotiations with the sales woman, all because of some dealership add ons and hidden fees. Crazy really that I was set to buy it then and there but the money sharks would rather hold on to old inventory I guess. BE WARNED This stealership will charge you a $2000 Add-on on every vehicle whether the equipment is on there or not. That is exactly what happened when I tried to purchase a brand new truck that was just delivered. Then they will try to lowball you on your trade since they're giving you too big of a discount on the vehicle you're trying to buy. I walked out as I don't play this game. In my opinion, this is the most dishonest and underhanded dealership I have ever dealt with. We spent a week going back and forth in negotiations on a particular vehicle and experienced multiple "bait and switch" tactics. The salesperson asked me via text to meet him halfway on the price just to get me to come in. And when I did, he did not honor that and instead, started our negotiations at the full listed price. We were looking for a vehicle for my son's first time purchase. Did all the work manage to have our credit union approve him for a loan. Looked at two vehicles the first time , came back to see one of the vehicles a second time. Made an offer like any other customer would and they denied it just because they want you to allow them to run your credit and find you a lender through them.
