I recently had my car towed to Stress-Free Auto. Last week I experienced a loud noise in the engine area, my "Battery Indicator" came on as I exited on to the Peninsula Ave turn off from HWY 101 (South Bound). The service was fast and convenient! I took my car here for a rim replacement, they took care of it pretty quickly and had everything ready to go in less than an hour

Very transparent non-pushy service. My car is very old and developed many areas that need to be addressed at some point, Stress Free provided free multi point inspection, documented each area of concern, and what was super helpful - with photos, provided a line by line quote, and let me decide what and when I want to fix. The oil service I brought the car for was very expedient and reasonably priced. I Highly recommend this shop.

Went in for a deflating tire that had run over a screw. They took me in in no time and got my car up and running within an hour. Excellent service, really nice staff, nice lounge with amenities.

I was referred to this auto shop by my online tire store for installation. The staffs were very professional, the manager is exceptional. He has eyes on everything. Every little detail. They are lucky to have him. The online store didn't confirm with Stress-free, but, they made it work and I didn't have an appointment, as I was not notified and required to have one. I recently visited Stress Free Auto Care in San Mateo for a wheel alignment, and unfortunately, the experience was anything but stress-free. I was given an appointment time of 9:00 AM and arrived promptly, only to have my vehicle sit untouched until 11:30 AM. I had to sit there in person for a wasteful 2.5-hour delay that could have been entirely avoided with proper scheduling. Although this place is convenient and is stress free to take my cars, this time around it wasn't as informative or proactive on customer service. Unfortunately, they charged me twice for a diagnostic check for 2 different concerns. I understand but I didn't think it a reasonable way to service. My other go to repair shop would have done a 1 charge or not even charge. They were super nice, just couldn't help w/ the transmission work we needed. :( I would've definitely used them because they seemed so helpful.
