Took car here because my carmax warranty suggested them. Charged over 120 dollars to tell me gas cap was loose thats why engine light was on. A month later light is on again.

Following the diagnostic performed under the Carmax warranty, it was determined that the check engine light was triggered by a loose or missing gas cap. The standard diagnostic fee of $235.00 was reduced by 50% as Carmax would not cover the expense, given the issue was identified as driver-related rather than a mechanical fault. Things did not go stress-free way! I went there at 11:30 AM and they told me I have to pay $250/2 = $125 - it seems their back office and actual repair store has different understanding in terms of charge and scheduled appointment. Then I showed my appointment conversation and they said they would honor the $99 charge - but they would take a look in my car around 1:30 PM (after lunch) even though I had an appointment at 11:30 AM - so, I dropped the car there and came home by myself, and again reached there at 1:40 PM. They said they can help to replace the battery. They collected the personal info and then schedule a time. Then, cancel the meeting a few minutes later say they cannot fix it. It looks to me they are trying to collect my info.

Stress Free has very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have worked on both of my cars and have always provided excellent and very thorough service. I appreciate the safety report that clearly shows me what other items need to be taken care of and how soon. Well done!

Went here on the recommendation of a friend who's been using Made in Japan for years now. It was such a breath of fresh air compared with getting my car serviced by the dealer, where they would try to upsell me on every little thing, and made it seem like my car had more issues than it actually had. I felt like they were honest and thorough in their explanations, and really good at keeping me in the loop on the status of my car throughout the day after I dropped it off. I recently had an oil change done at the Campbell Stress Free shop. The people I interacted with were courteous and friendly and they answered my questions about full synthetic oil and switching to synthetic from conventional oil for my 16 year old vehicle. I waited at the shop for the service to be completed. They also performed a complimentery vehicle inspection, which was appreciated. The wait for the service and inspection was about 1-1/2 hours.
