The moto (our family, caring for yours) that is just what they do, all staff are exceptional. Always a happy place for everyone; food again exceptional, activities great! So helpful, afternoon teas as good as a luxury London hotel! A perfect place for all who are poorly, very clean amazing. I come home feeling he is looked after amazing.

I have derived great satisfaction from the fact that my husband is so well cared for and looked after. I regularly have lunch with him, the food is excellent and well balanced. The highlight was our Christmas lunch together. It was pretty amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed eating a traditional Christmas meal, and being together. The staff are very friendly and always smiling, helpful and respectful. The home, management and staff make having to live apart after 43 years of marriage more bearable.

Staff/carers have been very patient with my dad as he shouts out a lot and gets very distressed. He is always kept very clean and so is his room. Staff are very friendly and update me as and when needed.

Everyone at the care home is friendly and always on hand for any queries or problems. My uncle has settled in very well. The nurses are very attentive and inform me of any problems or just to ask if a certain treatment is ok to do. I'm very pleased with how my uncle has been looked after and would recommend this care home to others.

A small birthday party was held and the care home let us use a lovely room and helped with the preparation. Kept popping in to check everything was ok. Really helpful staff. Home from home.

I came to visit a friend celebrating her 94th birthday and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I know my friend is receiving first class care. Thank you to all concerned who made her birthday special.

All the staff went above and beyond their duties to ensure everything was set up and things went smoothly for a birthday gathering arranged for our friend. A lovely warm home with very pleasant and helpful staff. Thank you.

Summer Lane cared for mum for nearly 3 years at the end of life. She was looked after with compassion, dedication and kindness by carers, nurses, reception, cafe and all of the support staff. Summer Lane provided a clean and comfortable environment for Mum. There was a cheerful and positive atmosphere.
