The worst vacation ever!!! My husband and I travel frequently to Mexico . This hotel is the worst hotel by far it is suppose to be an all inclusive hotel, but is not . They force everyone to attend a timeshare presentation in which they harnessed you to become a member don't do it is not worth it. By 11pm the hotel doesn't have a bar open, no entertainment you are forced to go into town . My husband and I are both New Yorkers . I am on my mid twenties , and hubby mids 30's . A worst experience of my life! 1 – My room was closing exhaust air from the kitchen, the smell of food was terrible during all the day! 2 – I lost a half of my day in one presentation because one person of staff hotel (his name is Elias) said me it’s was ”mandatory”, because my package was a “promotional package”. This hotel ripped me off !!!!! The hotel does not offer all the amenities that Expedia promised me. No free internet no flat tv no hair dryer no ipod docking station no bathrobes no slippers no premium bedding no clock no cd player these amenities are only for "members"

Sunset Royal The best part of the Sunset Royal experience was sitting on the beach enjoying the sun and picturesque Caribbean Sea. The staff was truly friendly and willing to assist in any way possible. Conversely, my room and the overall property have seen better days. Additionally, the cuisine offered at all of the hotel's dining facilities was routine and lacked creativity. The experience offered by the management of Sunset Royal Hotel is in definite need of an overhaul. The beach was a definite winner!!!

Family Reunion It is understood that this is an all inclusive hotel but had no idea that the minute we walked in the door we would be harassed to take the 'Time Share talk". I know they are not calling it this any longer but this is what it is. The front desk was rude and when we refused to attend this meeting the staff literally ignored us. Never again will we stay at this hotel.

완전 대 실망...호텔이 아닌 여인숙 수준임. 금액도 적은 금액이 아니고 상품평도 좋은편이라 믿고 예약했는데 정말 그 호텔의 수준을 보고 경악을 금치 못하였음. 아무리 올인클루시브라지만 그정도 요금을 받고 거의 여인숙 수준정도의 룸시설이라니..냉장고 손잡이도 부서지고, 화장실엔 욕조도 없고 목욕가운과 슬리퍼도 없고..그건 약과.. 침대 스프링이 너무 안좋아 허리가 아프고, 가장 경악스러운건 이불이 너무 불결해보임..새로 들어갔는데 쓰던 이불을 정리만 해놓은거 같은 상태..이불속에 머리카락들이 보이고..또 방에서는 쾌쾌한 냄새가 어찌나 나던지..가지고간 향수로 도배를 해놓고 나올정도였음. 호텔 수영장 물관리 수준도 엉망.수영장내에 음식물이 떠다니고 기름이 둥둥뜨고 너무 지저분해서 절대 들어가지 않음.음식도 시간이 정해져있고 너무나도 단순한 음식수준이었음. 3박내내 한시라도 호텔 내에 있고싶지 않아 계속 밖에 있다가 들어감. 정말이지 생애 최악수준의 호텔이었음. 이런 호텔을 예약하여 불쾌하고 칸쿤 마지막 여행기억도 안좋게 만들게 되어 가족... read more

an awful place! stay away from this rci hotel.all benefits that are listed on expedia.com are only for rci members and the hotel timeshare owners. the room description and list of ameneties are not REAL!!!!!!

Friends annual trip The only good thing this hotel has are a good staff. And the location. Different than what you see online.
