I was lied to about how they work. Asked for way more money than we agreed upon. Please be careful if you choose to go with this company. Its a scam and rip off. Do not go with this company. All they are doing is charging you fees to set you up on a payment schedule. You can call the *** and set the payment plan on your own. Please call the *** and do this yourself. Every single call with them they wanted more money than agreed upon. I am done thinking companies can help me. Im ****** ?? the h*** off.

Tax Rise was very misleading from the start, despite the kind tones of the employees my mother and I encountered.They asked for nearly $3000 to resolve the tax liability of my mother, who has, dementia, and provided NO resolution. It was an added hardship to pay them this money, but we hoped it would be less than what was owed to ***. IF I could leave a ZERO star I would. $5,000.00 paid to them for two years of ME chasing down BS information for them to finally tell me "yes, we entered you into an agreement with the *** for $1000 per month" IN A FORM letter with TYPOS and the just basically said s**** you and advised I pay the *** every other month to stay out of collections (3 months is the penalty) I WOULD DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM USING ANY SERVICE PROVIDED BY THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.

If I could give negative stars, I would. One star is far too generous for the experience I had. From start to finish, this was one of the most unprofessional and disappointing encounters Ive ever had with a company. Communication was poor, deadlines were missed, and promises were made that were never followed through on. We contracted Tax Rise to assist us with a ****** IRS tax debt after their representative assured us that our balance could likely be reduced to ***** or less. Trusting these assurances, we paid $4,250 for their services. This was a waste of money. Tax Rise put me on a payment plan with the **** which I was already on. This is a scam. You're better off talking to the *** yourself Update from a prior review: I spoke to the ** department about the $2000 + spent on a resolution. I expressed my frustration mentioned above and was told I would receive a callback from the young lady. However, I followed up days later because I hadn't received a response. A complete scam. They never follow through with what they say they will do. They took my money and did not do one thing for me. I am trying to get some of my money back but they dont return my phone calls. I do not understand why they have an high rating with the BBB.

These guys are complete scam artist. They are salesmen. Once they get your money theyre going to say it is a lawyer fee and you will never get it back. Then you find out that they cant deliver on none of the promises they reeled you in with. I paid $3000 and all they did was file my taxes and said they negotiated with the *** for me ??????.
