Taxrise will not return my calls, They charged me almost $5k to resolve my tax issue. Returns were prepared incorrectly. Pointed out that I do not live in a city limits and do not pay the income tax for a city I live. Proceeded to argue with me. I told them I would not sign the form until it was corrected. They will not answer the phone, I was on hold for almost 2 hours to speak with someone they never picked up the phone. DO NOT USE TAXRISE. They will scam you. The representative are experts trained to convince you they can assist you with negotiations and resolutions. Their fee was (7000$). Today I still owe IRS the same amount of Taxes. TaxRise will not communicate or provide timely updates on your case you have to contact them. Call IRS yourself and set up a payment plan and electronically give IRS the (7000$) that TAXRISE charge fees. They charged me $2000 to help me with my back taxes. When all done, all they did is set up a payment plan with *** that i had already setup and made payments higher after telling me they would reduce my interest to keep from giving *** more money. I will never refer anyone here, and would give a zero if possible.

Absolutely horrible communication. Theyre happy to take your money, but they wont give you any sort of solutions. They have an AI answer the phone and it is nearly impossible to talk to a human. ** recommend any other company.

I'm currently dealing with this company. ********. No communication once their received their money. *** letters being sent and still no communication. THAT AI BOT is the only thing working. I regret working with this company.

Run from this company. I called them in January 2025 and they assured me my case qualified for a resolution and the amount of back taxes I owed for 2021 and 2022 would be listed as uncollected tax debt. They took $3200 of my money which I had to put on a credit card. Its now March 2026 and I still owe the *** the same amount plus all their insane penalties and interest. I reached out to Tax Rise in late January for tax relief. My wife had been fighting cancer the previous year and things became very tight. I paid the initial $375 fee and made arrangements to pay an additional $1500 which payments have been made. I was assured that everything would be taken care of and to not worry. I received a letter from the state of Indiana on March 9th, telling me that if my state tax was not paid by June that my real estate license would not be renewed. DO NOT USE!! I paid $3500 for their service in May of 2025 to help with back taxes. They did assist with filing my 2023 returns however it took 10 months. I was calling weekly then daily with very little progress. They told me I had nothing to worry about until a resolution was completed. I will give ***** **** and TaxRise who he represents, negative stars for false promises.TaxRise have slick gabby people like ***** **** who verbally give you an overall solution for a fixed amount. In my case it was $375. Did not hear back for 3-4 months when I sent ***** emails. ***** **** again scheduled a call and this time he has totally changed his tune.
