I started a service with them for my husband tax issues. Paid the $500 investigation fee Then was told on next call he qualified for $2500 settlement But when I tried to log into the client portal it NEVER worked I then called to let them know When I talked to the first guy he was basically whispering in the phone n then said ima switch you over to the tech department Thats when I realized it was the same guy talking but u can tell he was covering the *************** like he was someone else! They charged and took out 500. Dollars a month for over 6 months and did nothing at all but take my money .. every time I called I got someone different on the phone telling me me everything is fine never received any paperwork other than what I would be charged..
Farce!!!!! I owe more now after using TaxRise than before I called them DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
I have been trying to get someone to return my call for almost two weeks. Im not happy with receiving a notice on the payment arrangement they made for me. I provided additional information and cant get them to return my calls. If I have to make the payments that they came up with they can atleast provide me with more than a one week notice.
its been well over ten days since a call back and on top of that they were trying to tell me i needed to dish out additional money when i was told that there was only a one time fee and now they want more money after the fact when they didn't disclose that from the beginning

TaxRise did not fulfill agreement to protect me from liens and garnishments. They did not process my tax returns in a way that would optimize my deductions and reduce tax debt. The company has poor communication and follow through. I spent over $8500 dollars and the company now states that I am not eligible for any government programs. The team was not familiar with my personal situation despite many notifications and attempts to contact them. This was a horrible experience, they had us thinking that they were going to help us. And then we paid them $500 for them to tell us no they can't help us and we can't have our money back. That's $500 I could of put towards my taxes. But I gave it to these people thinking they were gonna fix everything. I do not recommend these people or this company at all. I would use any other place besides this company. Thief's that's what they are

TaxRise will take your money and not do their services. I asked them to reduce my taxes which was not done. I did have my Taxes increased by $5,000 because of them. Stay away from tax rise. Bad news. I wouldn't give him any stars if that was an option.
