I'm worse off that I was ************ bull hockey. They talk fast and push for payment right away. They provide a letter to sign if you want to rescind on the loan, but don't honor it. They take their money, even knowing you have nothing. They "settled" my debt for $3000, but I would still owe the *** if I made ANY money in the next 10 years. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!! I reached out to them in April 2024 for tax relief assistance. The initial fee was $350 and I was told I qualified. Then my next conversation about the process resulted in an over $9k payment due to my tax debt which wasn't even behind. I was told it would be negotiated down to approx. $3k. The process took 3-5 more months than I was told. I paid $500 to Tax Rise for a case review. All they offered was a payment plan for my tax balance, with further costs to me. I declined and asked for a refund, and they never responded. I attempted to challenge the charge on my credit card and it was denied. Do NOT use this scam of a business.

Hello, I am leaving a review about a tax resolution company that misled me about the results they could provide to help me with the worries of my back taxes owed. I am very disappointed in this company. I reached out to them back in 2023 to help resolve my tax issues. I was helpless and felt like my tax issues were nearly impossible to handle. Now in 2025 and after paying over $5000 ($5311.41 to be exact), NOTHING has been done to impact my tax situation. I have experienced the worst experience with this organization. The end resolution result was everything that I could have done myself; however, they toyed with my case and hit me with a $5,500 fee (putting me in more debt). I am very upset with this organization and feel scammed. I advise no one to even look the direction of this organization.

Complaint:I am filing this complaint regarding a payment of $375 made to Tax Rise for tax resolution services that my wife and I ultimately chose to cancel after reading numerous reviews from past clients who shared similar concerns about the companys effectiveness in resolving tax debt.Following our decision to cancel, I sent three emails and made two phone calls requesting a refund. I trust and believed in them , to help me with my IRS that is I will have less to pay, however just come to a point that I paid in full with my credit card, I comply needed information, its over months to a year to return the money to my credit, they promise but all in bubbles.. complained to my credit card, but since the complaints was over months, cant do nothing.. now I am in more debt coz I trusted this Tax Rise .. be careful!

I was very disappointed with this business! I was told to pay an initial investigative fee of $500. I asked if anything disrupted this process would this be refundableI and the *** said yes. Due to an unfortunate issue that arose in the interim, I called to relay this info and requested a refund due to the fact that it would not be feasible for me to continue at this time until it was resolved.
