We received a letter stating that we owed in back taxes of 12 thousand. My husband and I knew there was some sort of mistake. We called tax rise to see if they can help us and we were reassured they could get rid of the debt or significantly reduce the amount owed. And it was approximately $350 fee. We sent them our information and when they finally get back to us we were really surprised with their findings they said they were unable to help us. We will owe 12 thousand. High pressure sales pitch. They send you over retainer documents and if you don't sign immediately the *** will tell you they are deleting your case and hangs up on you. You're not given a chance to review the documents for 24 hours or even a few hours- it's one of those ''now or never" scenarios. This happened to me today and also 6 months ago. Very unprofessional and not a company I would trust to handle my tax issues.

We were told, based on our income and expenses that we wouldn't have to pay the ***, that we would just need to wait 10 years for our debt to fall off, or become uncollectablle. First we'd just need to pay Taxrise over $2500 in cash or sign with Home *************** to pay $3,300 for Taxrise to move forward. We signed, made our first payment to them, then Taxrise comes back with a tax specialist who says we have too much disposable income. They can only re-negotiate our payments. Zero stars if I could leave a flat 0!!! Very professional but when it comes to the charges they charge vs the tax savings is pretty much equal!!!! There is absolutely no tax forgiveness vs what they quoted me. I admit fell hook line and sinker from what they said they could save me. Trust me I am $5800 deep with them with $5800 tax savings. Just call the *** directly!!!!!!!!!

Ok back in 2019 or so I found out that I owe the *** for filing a tax return for having health insurance but the problem is is having a 401 in the bank but no access to it because it but my problem is the pandemic the *** and tax rise were sitting on it for nearly two years and the penalty and interest amount to over six thousand dollars when tax rise gave me a resolution 6 years at 265 .00 which is about ****** total now I thought I was paying for the resolution plus the interest and penalty included but the *** said no it'... read more

I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with this company, TAX RISE! They make things sound great and promise to assist you with your struggles on taxes or any levy. In fact, they even send you a fake video prior to enrolling, believing that they will help you. It was my fault for believing that any representative of tax rise had my best interest. I would say that they were very good about taking my 10k with a $500 deposit and nothing was done to resolve my taxes. *Tax rise is a fraud! *Do not use them for anything!

I have had the misfortune of working with, or rather being mislead and completely unrepresented by multiple representatives of Tax Rise.I will admit that it was completely my fault for not doing my research. I was overly impressed with what seemed like a viable solution to my tax challenges after divorce. This company lied to us about our expectations and allowed us to get a levy applied to our income after already completing the agreement with the *** and processing or state agreement. ******** company as they ******* you to make things sound good and taken care of, but after they collect your payment for service, they hardly stay in communication and you'll get updates from the *** before them.

Cost me over $10,000 and hardly anything been done to resolve my taxes
