I paid Taz Rise to resolve both State and Federal tax payment plans, and after they completed the Federal plan, they closed my case without resolving the State issue. I have been calling and arguing with the tax specialists, complaining about the poor service, lack of communication, and penalties that kept piling up, even though they assured me they were working on it. It's been over a year!!!No, I can not recommend using them.

They promised at the very least, a significant lessening of my tax bill if not totally removed. They had me approved for a 5k loan before I even got off the phone of which it paid them. I got no service at all. The tax bill remained exactly the same and now I also have a loan. I cannot pay both and have reached out to them numerous times. Many verbal promises, no action. I have been totally scammed.

DO NOT USE TAX RISE!!!! They are a SCAM, they took $3000 from me and promised to negotiate with the *** to get a reduced amount owed to the *** of $14, ******. The negotiated resolution was only $190.00!!!! I could have used that $3000 to pay towards the debt owed and been way further ahead than where I am. WHAT A RIP OFF, I WILL MAKE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW & ON EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!

Scam. Fraud. Sent us to a lender we didn't qualify for and charged $500.00 for the "service." Only reviewed one transcript from the *** which we can access free- neglected to say they don't work with the government tax relief program - lied and said they did- they do NOT. DO NOT HIRE!

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I paid $12,000 based on a promise the company clearly could not deliver. We engaged TaxRise, **** to help resolve an existing *** tax issue. At the time we contacted them, we already had an active IRS installment agreement of $302 per month, which was current and in good standing. During the onboarding process, TaxRise aggressively pressured us to pay approximately $4,000 upfront, offering credit card payment or full payment. It is the biggest scam in tax resolution history. They took $15,000 for me so that I could get a lien on my passport not file taxes in 2024 leaving me with a huge penalty. they do not call you back, and they dont call you to give you an update. I am highly disappointed with my experience using TaxRise and I am now out $500 that I was told would be applied to my back taxes that were due. The company has refused to acknowledge that this was mentioned on the initial recording. I was also told that I was not being granted a refund because I was outside of the cancellation window.
