I contacted tax rise in September and at first they seemed very helpful and responsive. Since the beginning of October they have become virtually impossible to contact and still haven't filled my trades. I am single, no dependants, easy form. They haven't done ANYTHING with my taxes. I'm getting letters and all they say is " don't worry". They are collecting money from me monthly. If like to break the contract and try other options.

While the customer service when calling is is very helpful, the communication need tremendous work. Specifically, they needed more documents than I provided and when they did finally reach out asking me to call them, when I called no one could find out what it was that I needed to do which caused me to be levied by the ***. If I can give a zero on this review I would....Called this company for Tax relief and done everything necessary upon request from Taxrise and was told with documentation of approval, only to be told after paid starter fees and setup a financial plan with third party Westlake portal financial ******************** that sorry you was not a approved and you would need to take care of your tax matters yourself and we will cancel Westlake account... after that call, me and my wife paid the *** directly and then I received another ... read more

Taxrise is a great name for this company because that is what will happen. The amount you owe will rise. I wasted so much time on this, and in the end, I owe more, plus I had to pay these thieves. I am not sure who the bigger thieves are, the *** or Taxrise. I went from owing about 15K to over 24K with their "Settlement," and they claim they got a deal for me. Don't waste your time or your money with this company!

I hired TaxRise to help me resolve a significant *** debt and determine my eligibility for an Offer in Compromise. This is the worst company to help with ur tax needs. If u get an advocate name Yadair please request for another one. She was very rude and did Not turn in the necessary documents to get my Offer and Compromise granted so they reject it their company now trying to say it's my fault that I didn't turn in the Offer and Compromise in a timely manner which is not true. If you want to use tax rise be prepared to wait on hold a very long time after the robot gives you the wrong info you are looking for. The robot told me they will send an e mail with instructions to get on my portal which was telling me I don't have an account with them when I tried to log on. I finally got a human to speak to after being on hold for 43 minutes who told me I no longer have a portal because my account was closed when I signed all documents though I am still their client. Promises with no action what so ever the first month with the. Didnt protect me from liens , extra penalties, or stop existing irs agreement i had with the ***. Nothing but false promises for 7000 which im dispiting with my credit card company
