Terrible service! I spent $2000 for them to make payment arrrangements with the *** which I could've done myself. Asked me soooo many questions about my expenses and the final decision was that I need to change my withholdings. With all the information they had, i was expecting a lot of other options or information. Waste of money!

As soon as we had contact I spoke on pricing for their services and I was told services were $500 to $2500 which I thought was very reasonable. We went over my case and I was told my case would be $500 I paid the $500 and was then told the $500 was only a retainer and I need to take out a loan to pay an additional $5800...when I questioned it she act like she didn't remember our conversation so I asked to speak to the supervisor...he told me if it sounds to go to be true then you know something is not right...I was appalled ... read more

I cannot recommend Taxrise. We approached them to help us with an overdue tax bill. The representative sold us their services with promises of removing or at least reducing our tax liability. Ultimately, all they were able to do was get the *** to remove a $419 dollar penalty. We still have to pay back all of our back taxes with interest. We paid Taxrise $3400 and they reduced our tax bill by $419. As a retiree I am on a fixed budget. I feel foolish that I allowed them to take advantage of us. I was very disappointed and disheartened with the service that I received from Tax Rise. I paid this company over $2,600 to help me with my tax debt. Six months later I was told that the only thing that they can do for me is to try to stop the interest from accruing on my tax debt. I could have done that myself. It was a TOTAL waste of TIME and MONEY. I felt ripped off.

I have been with this company since 7/2020 I have pay this company on monthly bases and this 10/2024 and I don't have no resolution as well I'm been levy by the *** as well paying them for last 4 pay period. I had resubmit power attorney and now after calling numerous time I was notify I had to submit my taxes so they can work again with the *** until the taxes are not completed the *** will continue levy my pay. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. They have very convincing sales staff that will say anything to get you to sign up. They are willing to fib income so that you qualify for their financing that the payments are just as much as your tax payments.... that you can't afford. Every time I bring up that I feel scammed they connect me with one of their sales staff that "wouldn't work for a company that scams people". I could have swore I told the company I get paid every 4th Wednesday of each month but ended up taken the money out the following day which put me in the negative and now I have to scramble to correct the problem I won't recommend this company to no one at at bad customer service ****

Taxrise made payment arrangement with ***. Nevertheless, anyone can make a payment agreement. I could have saved over 2500 not contacting Taxrise about my problem. They took advantage of me not able to pay back extra money. Do not trust the false claims without contacting IRS.., Im forced to pay both Tax Rise and IRS..
