Wish I never knew this companies name. Felt pressure from this company to go into this. Not fully understanding what I was getting myself into. Now I'm paying money to a third party and drowning even more in financial ruin cause of this. I wasn't comfortable going into this and now I wish I never found this company. I enlisted tax Rise to help me resolve some back taxes, I thought I owed around *****. After I paid them a deposit and agreed to pay **** on a monthly installment . I discovered I only owed *****. Was extremely excited after talking with the Taxrise representative and all the information that was passed on to me and how they were going to handle my case.That was my first and last time that I was excited about anything to do with this company. Unwilling to refund any portion of what I paid them because I had a way to take care of my tax liability on my own. Rude customer support when refund was discussed. I get it, they have a job too, but in a current financial struggle with paying them as it is, the disrespect I was shown is unacceptable by any stretch of the imagination. Uncooperative and disrespect all the way around.

Untrustworthy business, they tell you 350 dollar deposit they will deal with IRS! They did nothing but steal 350 dollars and wanted **** more! Do not deal with these crooks!!!

The additional charge would've been for the resolution process, which was also explained to you. We did not steal $350 from you as the service you paid for has been completed. Bait and switch. After a consult instead of $350 - in order to settle the charges would be $6000. *********************** was condescending while trying to explain to me I had to pay the debt in full plus the money owed to them. I declined but if they would not have mislead and lied to me - I would not selected them

Huge waste of time and money. DO NOT waste your money!!!! After paying $500 dollars for Discovery (requesting free tax returns from the ***** i was told that in order for them to help they needed an additional $2900.00. I was led to believe by the advertising and several discussions with reps that i could save enough to justify the $3400.00 expense. The result: My payments to the *** went from $ 200 a month to $248 a month without my approval and added 36 payments of $100 per month to finance the "additional" $2900.00. I req... read more
