Updates are really vague. And I have to initiate all inquiries. When they do answer, they are always pleasant but never have a definite answer, and I still don't know when their last contact with the *** was or if they need anything else.
This company runs a typical bait and switch they tell you their service is going to be $500 then come back and want to charge you up to $7,000. They never give you any clear understanding that it could cost this much more while you're doing your initial consultation I beg you to please not use this company. I would hate for anybody else to just lose their $500 like I did

I started with taxrise because I was audited (at the hight of the pandemic) and it was determined that I owed $7k, and being a deployed soldier, there were a few years I needed to file as well. They had excellent sales personnel, sold ********** guarantees and ability to negotiate with the *** and that I "qualified" for tax relief. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with they took **** dollars from me and haven't did anything for me but give a run around, I've had 5 different case Managers, and they all been fired I've been told I just keep getting the run around, very upset at this company,

I hired Tax Rise in April 2021 - to date, they have not been able to do anything for me. I paid for them to do my 2021 Tax Returns and submitted documents to them as requested. They finally completed my 2021 Tax Returns in May of 2023. They do not follow through with their promises. They should not have any stars. They promise to help you but just take your money and once you pay them off they do nothing for you. Tax Rise took a $10,000 payment after assessing my situation to resolve a $82,000 tax debt from a resulting divorce. They touted substantial settlement savings but were not able to reduce citing I made too much money despite knowing my income BEFORE I financed the loan to retain them. I am now on the hook for all back taxes, plus interest accrued during the waiting period, plus the loan financed to retain them and now the *** just put a lien on my home! After all this wasted time I finally figured out this company is an orchestrated scam from sales pitch to disappointing result! They entice you with wonderfully supportive and friendly sales strokes, dangling the offer in compromise or some other form of "relief" but their process is likely to take you on a whirlwind of incompetence for years while your penalties add up.
