Complaint:I am filing this complaint regarding a payment of $375 made to Tax Rise for tax resolution services that my wife and I ultimately chose to cancel after reading numerous reviews from past clients who shared similar concerns about the companys effectiveness in resolving tax debt.Following our decision to cancel, I sent three emails and made two phone calls requesting a refund. I trust and believed in them , to help me with my IRS that is I will have less to pay, however just come to a point that I paid in full with my credit card, I comply needed information, its over months to a year to return the money to my credit, they promise but all in bubbles.. complained to my credit card, but since the complaints was over months, cant do nothing.. now I am in more debt coz I trusted this Tax Rise .. be careful!

I was very disappointed with this business! I was told to pay an initial investigative fee of $500. I asked if anything disrupted this process would this be refundableI and the *** said yes. Due to an unfortunate issue that arose in the interim, I called to relay this info and requested a refund due to the fact that it would not be feasible for me to continue at this time until it was resolved. I started a service with them for my husband tax issues. Paid the $500 investigation fee Then was told on next call he qualified for $2500 settlement But when I tried to log into the client portal it NEVER worked I then called to let them know When I talked to the first guy he was basically whispering in the phone n then said ima switch you over to the tech department Thats when I realized it was the same guy talking but u can tell he was covering the *************** like he was someone else! They charged and took out 500. Dollars a month for over 6 months and did nothing at all but take my money .. every time I called I got someone different on the phone telling me me everything is fine never received any paperwork other than what I would be charged..

I have been trying to get someone to return my call for almost two weeks. Im not happy with receiving a notice on the payment arrangement they made for me. I provided additional information and cant get them to return my calls. If I have to make the payments that they came up with they can atleast provide me with more than a one week notice.

its been well over ten days since a call back and on top of that they were trying to tell me i needed to dish out additional money when i was told that there was only a one time fee and now they want more money after the fact when they didn't disclose that from the beginning

TaxRise did not fulfill agreement to protect me from liens and garnishments. They did not process my tax returns in a way that would optimize my deductions and reduce tax debt. The company has poor communication and follow through. I spent over $8500 dollars and the company now states that I am not eligible for any government programs. The team was not familiar with my personal situation despite many notifications and attempts to contact them.
