***** ***** I paid $500 up front for the review of my tax situation. However during the review, the amount quoted as monthly payment was $304, which is more than I can handle right now. I was sent documents to sign an agreement to go ahead with the case. I did not sign the documents and I did not give them authorization to debit my account. However, they went ahead and debited my account 2 payments in one shot. That automatically sent my account into overdraft. I would not recommend them to anybody else. Not upfront about rralistic outcomes and not upfront about the fees associated with their services. After they charged an upfront retainer fee, they offered a proposal with no benefit whatsoever and wanted to charge another $2000. Ridiculous! I ended up in a worse place financially.

I used an unscrupulous person to do my 2019, and 2020 taxes. I reached out to tax rise for 2019 audit, while working with me, I was audited for 2020. Tax Rise didn't negotiate amount to be decreased but rather a payment plan. They insisted they had to complete 2021 taxes. I again owed moneyon Federal and received refund on State. Never heard anything from them, called months later to ask what was going on and if 2021 debt is that included in plan, told it should be. They have not reduced my tax problem. I had to do the work directly with IRS. Phone calls have not been returned twice. They were notified of a phone conference but did not tell me or attend. I have been making monthly payments of 250 dollars for ************************* the same mess. They do not help you with your tax problem just added more stress and complication. I still have to pay ****** dollars per month to IRS for 70 months. Tax Rise is a ripe off.

Horrible experience. Dont go to them. They are a waste of money. They took almost a year to resolve my tax is***s and I ended up owing the same. They had some sales guy sell me their package of tax relief and they said they can ************ on half or possible under $3k. I originally owed $17k and I was already on an installment agreement. They told me to cancel the agreement with the irs, they would take over and take care of everything. I took out a loan for $5,800 to pay for their service. We went with Tax Rise and tried working with them for 6 weeks. The last 3 weeks we could not get a response from them from our emails or phone messages. After having enough of being ignored we emailed and told them to stop all business matter representation for us and that we were stopping payments for services with the company ***************************. Company was hired two years ago to negotiate a reduction of taxes owed. After two years of monthly payments they stated that our case was settled. The ONLY thing that they negotiated with the *** was too have a lien placed on our home for the full amount owed. This lien will increase with interest and penalties as time goes on. It seems that I paid this company only to get no resolution from the **** I received a letter from IRS basically letting me know that I still owe the full amount. Taxrise has to this point has not contacted me as to my resolution. This is **** to me.
